Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 Final' & 'Puyo Puyo Ranking Pro-Selection 2025

Live streaming of the SEGA official tournament 'Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 Final' on Sunday, March 9!

This tournament is a prize money competition featuring a mix of professional and amateur players, consisting of 15 invited players who achieved excellent results in various "Puyo Puyo" tournaments held this year, plus the champion from the 'Puyo Puyo Ranking Pro-Selection 2025 Final Tournament' held at the same venue on the same day, for a total of 16 participants. The champion will be awarded a prize of 1 million yen!

We will also broadcast the SEGA official tournament 'Puyo Puyo Ranking Pro-Selection 2025 Final Tournament' in this stream!!

Tournament Format: Single elimination tournament with 4 players who advanced from the preliminaries / Victory condition: First to win 10 games
Awards:
Championship and runner-up will receive certificates
Championship and runner-up will be granted rights to obtain the "Japan e-Sports Pro License (*)" for the "Puyo Puyo" series by the Japan e-Sports Union (JeSU)
The champion will be granted participation rights in the 'Puyo Puyo Grand Prix 2025 Final' held on the same day

Tournament Format:

Preliminaries: All 16 participants will be divided into 4 groups, with league matches within each group. Rankings will be determined by the number of victories, and the top player from each group will advance to the finals. Victory condition: First to win 10 games
Finals: Single elimination tournament with all 4 players who advanced from the preliminaries.
Victory condition: First to win 10 games (20 games for the championship match only)

Awards: Champion will receive a prize of 1 million yen
If a general player wins, they will be granted rights to obtain the "Japan e-Sports Pro License (*)" for the "Puyo Puyo" series by the Japan e-Sports Union (JeSU)
