UPDATE #17 - 2 new OSTs and levels improvements!

Hi VR rockstars!

In preparation for the upcoming campaign update, this update brings 2 new OST songs along with the current progress about level improvements and rebalancing.

We also added some additional musical props to the game:



We also addressed a bug some users experienced following the initial logo scene. Compatibility with Oculus link and virtual desktop should be improved.

UPDATE #16 - invisible notes and microphone!

Hello VR rockstars!

The update brings a new gameplay modifier: "invisible notes":



With this modifier on, notes will become invisible a little before being playable!
Use your musical ears to overcome the additional difficulty, and take advantage of the (albeit little) bonus!

A functional and interactive microphone is now in the studio menu and in-game:



You can use it just for fun and warm up your vocals for now, but more to come for your parties if asked!

The update also contains some rebalanced levels, resulting from the work we are doing for the future campaign update.

UPDATE #15 - bomb notes & no-fail!

Hello VR rockstars!

We are proceeding with the campaign implementations, this update should hopefully be one of the last before releasing it to the public!

The update brings a new gameplay modifier: "bomb notes":



With this modifier on, some notes will be replaced by a bomb one... don't make them explode!


Another modifier is the "no-fail":



This replaces the old "Training" game mode. Your score will have a penalty but you can always play to the end of the song and put a record on the leaderboard!


We also playtested and made some adjustments/fixes to the gameplay to make the game a little more fair/forgiving about errors.
Also made other tweakings to virtual guitar positioning according to users' feedback and lots of polishing around the edges.


Numerous other changes are made, a changelog summary below:

- Some gameplay improvements: discarded some "unfair" errors
- Virtual guitar positioning improvements
- Freehand sensitivity preference is now saved
- In-game UI feedback improvements

- Coming-soon campaign button placeholder
- Other minor bug-fixes

UPDATE #14 New Song and new Modifier!

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
This new update got a lot bigger than we previously planned.

The update brings a new gameplay modifier: "Swap lane":



A new OST song: "Disturbed dreams"



Most of the OST levels have also been improved and rebalanced.

We also improved the menu scene by adding more musical props and improving scene lighting naturalness, while also making some performance optimizations.



We also fixed wrong natural HOPOs in .mid custom songs.
You should need to reimport your custom songs in order to have HOPOs placed properly.

- song loading times dramatically reduced

- virtual guitar weight approximation

- longer strum anticipation time allowed

Update #13.1 Hotfix

Pull-off for tap notes and fix for slowdowns on Open notes



This update addresses the slowdown issue reported while attaching white open notes, and adds pull-off support for tap notes too.
