Update #13 Pull-off, latency and custom songs import fixes!

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
Numerous improvements and fixes are available in this new update.

Important: You need to reimport your custom songs in order to have HOPOs placed properly.

Now you can pull-off in case of multiple columns of HOPOs:



In the example above, it is now possible to play those notes by holding down the first key, while hammering with the second key in correspondence with the notes of the second column and releasing the second finger in correspondence with those of the first column. It is no longer necessary to press and release on both keys.

There are also improvements on latency, as well as a special slider added in the settings menu:



Furthermore, the menu is now also accessible in-game:



Further improvements have been made to the custom song import system. Now the process should no longer interrupt causing a partial import of the songs, and we also fixed an issue that caused some HOPOs to be missing or misplaced.

About the next updates, we would also like to rebalance some levels in order to smooth the difficulty curve and to make the game more accessible and enjoyable for the new players.
In our vision, the single-player campaign that is in development should be a fun way to gradually introduce mechanics and a sense of learning and progress toward levels of crescent difficulty.

Update #12.1 Hotfix


We just pushed a hotfix for misinterpreted forcing events in .mid custom songs following the new update.
Please just reimport your custom songs in case you already downloaded update #12 and you see hammer-ons in place of normal notes for your custom songs in .mid format.

Hello to all the rockstars!

It's time for a new update!
The game now also recognizes open notes and forced notes:



By doing this we should finally have achieved full support for custom songs.
We've also improved the playability of the hammer-ons, they should now be fairer and easier to hit.

Finally, we solved another case of instability in the chart import phase, you should be able to re-import your songs without interruption and with all the notes recognized.

Other fixes and improvements are included, such as a fix for an issue that caused slower and faster song modifiers not to work and minor graphic changes.

About the next updates, we'll look into adding timing calibration and continue the works on the single-player campaign.

UPDATE #11 Tap notes!

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
It's time for another update today!

The game now recognizes a new type of notes, the tap notes:



No strum is required to play them, you'll be able to play them by just tapping with your fingers over the fretboard.
As you can see from the screenshot, we also added vertical lines along the note lanes, to make them more distinguishable, especially from a distance.
Notice: you'll need to reimport your custom songs in order to see the taps.

Another requested feature (expecially by the more custom song addicted users) is the random button:



Still about custom songs, we completely overhauled the import process by making it a lot faster, supporting natively multitrack songs, and adding mp3 compatibility.



You shouldn't wait too long by looking at this bar with a choppy framerate anymore :)

We also made some general stability fixes and improvements, and some gfx changes around.

Update #10.1 Chart import loading bar fixed

Hello to all the VR rock stars!

After some feedback received we just pushed an hotfix for a bug entered with our latest build. Import chart progress bar had disappeared and users could go around in the menus while having the import still in progress.

We are also working on an upcoming update aimed at improving the custom song import process, it should include open notes and tapping notes, reduce loading times and further improving compatibility with other formats.
