Favourites, Delete and misc improvements! Update#10

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
Here is another update with lots fixes and quality of life improvements!

We got some usability improvements in the menu, such as navigation by physical controller input and a new option bar in the songlist, allowing you to star your favourite songs:



so that you can access them easily by clicking on the favourites tab, expecially useful when you got a lot of custom songs.

Another addition is the bin icon, allowing you to delete unwanted custom songs without leaving the game:



We also made some gameplay improvements by further improving note hit detection, adjusting some bad note timing in some ost levels and the by improving the snappiness of some gameplay feedbacks.

Here is the complete list of changes:
- Options bar in songlist menu, with song favourites and delete options
- Physical controller menu UI navigation improvements
- Fixed some cases of wrong Bonus/Malus multiplier value
- Fixed some bad note timing in some ost levels
- Note hit detection improvements
- Reduced some animation timings in order to improve the response of in-game visual feedbacks
- Song audio preview volume is lowered down a little
- Avoided to play back song preview on returning to the menu after playing a level
- Leaderboard immediately closes by selecting another song instead of waiting for difficulty selection

New Song Available: Diabolika! Update#9

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
A new update with some fixes and improvements is now up!

A new OST song: Diabolika



Other fixes and improvements are in the update:

- New OST song with levels for each playstyle

- Virtual guitars moves more naturally and remains still when hand sliding is active

- Broken LIV plugin integration is now fixed

- Misc performance optimizations

Stadium Stage is Available! Update#8

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
The new stage is here!

You can now play in a stadium specially set up for your concerts in public!
A lot of work has gone into this new environment, you'll be able to look at more than a thousand of animated peoples with dynamic lightings rendered in realtime, and the crowd will react to your performance, cheering or becoming angry if you miss too much notes.

Make we know what do you think about it in our socials (steam forums, twitter or reddit actually), or feel free to contact our support by email, we are always opened to suggestions for improvements!

By default you'll play in the pyramid environemnt while playing in training mode, and in the stadium while playing in the free mode, buy we now have a stage selection menu where you can override your preferences:



For the next big update we will look into having a single player campaign!
New songs and maps are in the works, you should have a sequence of levels to play with some restrictions and/or achievements to get in order to progress further into the campaign.

The new stage is coming!

Hello to all virtual reality rock stars!
Today we want to share the progress of the latest Rocking Legend developments with you!
We are working on a new environment, it is a stadium specially set up for your concerts in public!

We are working hard in order to allow you to have as large an audience as possible, fully animated and reactive to the quality of your musical performance!
The results we achieved so far are the ones you can see in the attached screenshots taken while in-game, please let us know what do you think about it!

We are eager to release and let you try this new update, but we wouldn't want to be too rushed in order for you to have the best possible experience.

Modifiers and Search Keyboard! Update #7

Hello to all the VR rock stars!
It's time for a new big update!

Gameplay modifiers!
Personalize the game experience as you like, from note travelling speed to some settings on how you handle your virtual guitar.



Some of them will give you a little bonus or malus to the score multiplier, here is the current list:

- increase note travelling speed with thoose modifiers

- slowdown or accelerate song playback

- only downstrums are detected over your virtual string bar

- a trippy modifier that will made note lanes to randomly change their speed while playing

- move your virtual hand holding the plectrum/pick freely narrower or further from the string

- you won't need to strum with this modifier active, just time your note presses

Virtual keyboard for song filtering!



You can use this virtual keyboard in order to filter your song list by song name. (Other filtering possibilities should come in future updates).

Combo multiplier is now finally visible in the in-game UI:



Look at this indicator in order to try retaining the maximum combo multiplier and to maximize your scores.


We also made huge improvements to hand slides stability, improved plectrum haptics, better stage positioning and fixed some reported bugs.

Here is the complete changelog:

- combo score multiplier in the in-game UI
- hand slides on the fretboard are more stable
- plectrum haptics improvements
- virtual guitar movement is now dampened
- virtual keyboard with songlist filtering by name
- setting for in-game UI (on, no note score UI off, all off)
- stage position is a little higher and further from the notes for better visibility
- fix for a case of click sound while playing after resuming from pause
- fix for a case of doubled difficulties in the song list
- update logs in the menu scene
- gameplay modifiers:
- note speed multipliers
- time scaling
- only downstrums
- random dynamic lane speed
- free plectrum movements
- auto plectrum

For the next updates we would love to add some more modificators and some graphical and loading optimizations, plus we are still working on the new stage, we still need some time but we hope to be ready share more about it later on.
