Update 10.0 development news
Greetings, machinists! Since the upcoming update is being dragged on and there are opinions among players that the game is abandoned, I decided to make full-fledged development news for the first time. Since the update will be an anniversary one, I decided to implement a lot of serious technical tricks at once, including in order to avoid unnecessary save breakages in the future, which is inevitable in the game in alpha testing.
The main technical changes are a new, full-fledged save system, which will allow saving any changes in any location after the player has left that location.
It was also decided to make the locomotive and carriages separate elements, which would allow connecting new carriages found in the visited locations, creating long train sets.
