Update 0.6.0 - Campaign Time Settings, Performance Improvements, and More

Version 0.6.0 Updates:

  • Campaign Updates:
    • Time settings for main time, byoyomi time, and byoyomi count can now be adjusted for the campaign. These settings can be accessed by clicking the "Settings" button on the right-hand side of the campaign map which can be changed at any time. When creating a new campaign, the time settings from your most recently played campaign will be used for the new campaign.
    • The campaign map screen has undergone performance improvements, which should not requires as much GPU resources as previous versions.
    • The AI review process will now run under a below normal priority class, allowing other higher priority processes to receive the necessary resources while reviews are being run.
    • Using the territory ability will now also display the estimated score of the match.
    • The campaign "Details" menu has been renamed to "Stats" and the UI has now been changed and reorganized.
    • Fixed an issue where the AI's name would not display on the player card when starting an invasion battle.
    • Fixed an issue where the resume battle button would not function if the battle history panel was closed and the same region was clicked again.
    • The resource types that are able to be earned from each region are now displayed in the battle summary panel.
    • Resource Balance Adjustments:
      • Forest regions will continue to produce lumber and food resources, but will no longer produce stone resources.
      • Territory ability cost has changed from 50 food to 25 food + 50 lumber.
      • Additional uses for resources and improvements to resource collection will be coming in future updates.

  • Time management for the Hybrid AI has been improved, which should now avoid losing by time when the available time gets low.
  • Text throughout the game has been made more dark.
  • A new traditional board theme has been added, which is a darker theme than the existing traditional theme.
  • The look of the last move marker has been changed and made to be more visible.
  • When playing against an AI, the level of the AI will now be displayed on the player card next to the AI name.
  • Improved recovery from corrupted machine settings file.
  • Enabled logging to assist with troubleshooting issues in the future.
