Update 0.7.0 - Online Ranking and Game Engine Updates
Version 0.7.0 Updates:
- Previously, some players were running into issues being able to start quick matches and campaigns due to an underlying bug in the Unity game engine causing errors reading the timezone set within Windows. The game has been updated to a more recent version of Unity to resolve this issue and improve long-term support.
- The formula to compute the ranking of online players has been updated to match the new ranking changes on the Online Go Server (OGS), scheduled to take place today at 08:30 PM ET. The displayed ranks will stay consistent with the OGS website before and after the ranking changes take place later today.
- The online ranking graph has been updated to use the new OGS ranking data. Once the ranking changes take place later today on the OGS website, the ranks displayed within the graphs will be consistent.
- The online match history will now display the ranks of players at the time of the match instead of the current player ranks.
- The notifications and friends lists will now be cleared upon clicking the log out button in the online menu.
- Fixed an issue with not being able to reload the same online player profile when clicking the player's name from one of the non-profile tabs.
- Fixed an issue with the challenges tab being displayed for profiles that are not the logged in player.
- The Active Matches online profile tab will now load when clicking a player's name in the profile challenges tab.
- All AIs will now start in a below normal priority class in order to allow higher priority processes to receive necessary resources.
- Fixed an issue where the tabs of the campaign stats and settings menu were not properly displayed when using the escape key to access the pause menu.
- Updated the warning message for unsaved settings and unsaved match progress to be two distinct messages.
