Finally, after an intense period of debugging, it is our hope that this update will be the end of the massive crashes you have been experiencing!

Small hotfix

A small hotfix that make option for failsafe with handheld radio:
  • Fixed issue with storing cargo on DrPhil
  • Handheld radio can now be used anywhere, not just on the boat (this is a failsafe option)
  • Updated top speed information for all boats to reflect correct top speed

Great news! We've just released another patch addressing the issues you've encountered. Thank you for your feedback and patience.

A small hotfix that resolves a few additional crashes:
  • Fixed an issue where the game would freeze when you hide the UI and press ESC
  • Fixed rare crash when calculating acceptable loans
  • Fixed crash when client failed to join session

Small hotfix

Releasing the next patch for Ships At Sea! This update should bring significant improvements.

  • Disabled cargo from savegame (This requires some additional work and will be fixed soon.)
  • Fuel usage will now be based on in-game time rather than real time.
  • Fixed problem where loading a save game would cause FPS to drop to almost zero (This was due to a problem with cargo losing references and spawning thousands of objects, which significantly impacted performance.)
  • Improved the crane to correctly remove the cargo from the cargo area after loading it onto the ship.


PLEASE NOTE:
Cargo missions are currently disabled in the savegame. Please make sure to complete any cargo missions before saving, as they will be lost otherwise. We are working on improving how cargo and missions are saved and hope to have this issue resolved soon!
