Offworld is happy to announce that Update 1.2 for Starship Troopers: Extermination will be released on February 5th at 10 AM GMT-7.

Below is a quick summary of what our troopers on the field can expect in Update 1.2.

As the Federation reigns victorious on Boreas a new Galactic Front is here. Disputed Sands will bring troopers back to Valaka with new milestones, rewards, and Bugs to kill! Disputed Sands will go live alongside the release of Update 1.2 for both PC and Console. Form your companies, bring the fight to those Bugs and reign victorious!

[h2]New Weapon Mods[/h2]
Federation Research and Development has been hard at work improving trooper weaponry and their latest breakthroughs are ready to hit the field. State-of-the-art weapon modifications have been approved and are now available for a selection of weapons.

Be among the first to gear up with these cutting-edge mods and show the enemy what Federation ingenuity looks like.

Re-enlistment just got a whole lot sharper. Those who step up for another tour of duty will be rewarded with exclusive cosmetics to showcase their dedication. [h3]The Galactic Front & the 1.2 Update - Coming in February[/h3]

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce that Starship Troopers will be introducing the new Galactic Front event, Disputed Sands, with the release of Update 1.2 in early February. This exciting new chapter will introduce the Galactic Perks system—an all-new rewards system designed to give players more ways to advance and customize their troopers to their playstyle. Expect more details about this system later this month, but rest assured, it will give you new incentives to continue your heroic efforts in the fight for the Federation.

We can’t wait for you to experience all of this and more in the coming months. We are immensely proud of this community and everything we have accomplished together. With your continued feedback and support, we’ll continue to shape Starship Troopers: Extermination into the ultimate experience for all of us.

As we approach the holiday season, the Federation and Offworld extend our warmest wishes to all troopers — our brave and dedicated troopers. Whether you’re battling the Arachnid threat on the icy tundras of Boreas, securing outposts on the harsh sands of Valaka, or enjoying some well-earned leave with your squadmates, we hope this season brings you moments of peace, joy, and plenty of bug splatter.

This past year, your efforts in defending humanity have been nothing short of extraordinary. Together, we’ve stood firm against overwhelming odds, built towering fortifications, and sent countless Arachnids back to the pits from which they crawled. The Federation salutes you for your service and sacrifice.

To give our Research and Development crew a chance to recharge their batteries (and polish their Morita rifles), Offworld will be closed for the holiday from December 23rd, 2024 to January 5th, 2024. Support services will be limited during this time, but rest assured, we’re already preparing new operations, updates, and challenges for the year ahead.

• Fixed a shader pre-compliation issue that was causing the game to freeze on launch (deadlock) for some users.
