As you are aware, we had our first in-game event last week with Mask Mania.

However, we can all agree that the event didn’t go quite as planned, and we wanted to dig deeper into that in this week’s blog post. Here we discuss the thought behind the event, expectations, our learnings, answering some questions you had, and we also included stats as we know many of you wanted that📈

Wake up, babe, they're dropping a new mask🎭

The rumours are true, we are finally making the Almir mask in the game available to you! The mask is our newest Twitch drop, so make sure to tune in to any PAYDAY 3 stream starting THIS THURSDAY (July 25th) AT 3 PM CEST. Here are some quick steps of what you need to do:

• Watch PAYDAY 3 on Twitch for a total of 1 hour, and the mask will unlock in your inventory (https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory) and you can claim it.
  
• Make sure to connect your Nebula account with your Twitch account, you can do so by going to https://nebula.starbreeze.com/account/linked-accounts and making sure to linking your account on the "Link An Account" button, see attached picture.
  
• Open your game and the mask will be available to you right away!
  

So go rob some banks as Almir and never get caught💪

A smaller update that fixes a number of the issues discovered since update 1.2.0. Have a look at the full changelog here.

[h2]Heists[/h2]

• Fixed so favors function on all heists in Solo Mode
  
• Security modifier descriptions across all languages should no longer overlap on the Heist Selection screen
  

[h2]Boys in Blue[/h2]

• Picking up the gold loot sometimes doesn't update the objective
  
• Fixed the objective not updating after fixing the generator
  
• Prevented some items in the vault from having a golden shine (not the gold)
  
• Fixed a text overlap in the lobby screen (French only)
  
• Fixed some clipping props in the lieutenant's office
  

[h2]Turbid Station[/h2]

• Prevented the security modifier ‘AI Surveillance’ from being in the rotation
  

[h2]Syntax Error[/h2]

• Fixed not being able to secure the main loot if going loud after having secured all optional bags
  

[h2]Road Rage[/h2]

• Prevented the player from getting stuck in the hacking device crate
  

[h2]Rock the Cradle[/h2]

• Prevented players from using any civilian to open the crypto room
  

[h2]General[/h2]

• Prevented Solo Mode from becoming unavailable after finishing a heist
  
• Prevented Solo Mode rewards from increasing when playing multiple heists
  
• Prevented Solo Mode lobbies from being started while in a party
  
• Fixed inventory items not unlocking when leveling up during Solo Mode
  
• Fixed players being unable to create a Nebula account if the game was launched without Playstation Plus
  
• Prevented double cash being paid out in Solo Mode
  
• Fixed players being unable to rejoin a match via the Social Tab
  
• Adjusted the player's info panel to align with the 3D model in the Solo Mode lobby
  
• Fixed the heister model becoming invisible in the lobby if leaving an online game to play Solo Mode
  
• Fixed 'Spec Ops’ achievement not triggering
  
• Fixed the ‘Misdirect’ skill from having a higher chance of avoiding damage than intended against marked enemies
  
• Fixed the ‘turret’ deployable from being as inaccurate when shooting targets not facing the turret
  
• Fixed the reflector shield having inconsistent visual effects depending on heist
  
• Prevented multiple issues when trying to join games via platform-specific “Join Game” buttons or invites
  
• Implemented a possible fix for the weekly C-stack cost not resetting
  
• Prevented saved menu settings from getting reset following a game crash
  

[h2]UI[/h2]

• Fixed the social menu being inaccessible if the player had played a tutorial
  
• Updated “switching loadouts UI” while using a controller to make its use more clear
  
• Fixed progression not properly displaying on the result screen
  
• Prevented the Match Summary screen from showing the double amount of collected bags
  
• Prevented the ‘failed game result screen’ from displaying a 'Text Block' text instead of the infamy points received
  
• Fixed some ‘Boys in Blue’ DLC masks not having localized names
  
• Fixed the ‘Queens Revenge’ having tiny text for the attachment flavor text

We come with you bearing a new system. Some of you may already have a clue due to it being teased in Dev Update #6! We managed to snag this high res image of it as you can see 👀



Coming in the free August update (we'll have a Dev Update soon!) we are implementing the new Consumables System.

Ever been in a game where you remember that a First Aid Kit, or Armor Repair Kit, was available in a bathroom, but it’s on the other side of the map? Worry no more, as you’ll now be able to pick up these consumables and bring them with you as you progress through the level.
