Space Chef is an open-world, err.. open galaxy game combining fun cooking, crazy crafting, gun-blasting action and anything but your usual farming. Explore a vast procedurally generated universe that is different each playthrough. Meet and flirt with humans and aliens. Best of all, bring your friends on a delicious adventures with up to four player couch co-op. Coming to PC and all major consoles.

Hunt down alien life and cook it in Space Chef, coming to Linux and needs Beta testing

Space Chef from developer Blue Goo Games is planned to be supported on Linux thanks to the Unity game engine, and it looks like it could be quite fun.

We got some great news for you, Space Chef is coming to Kickstarter, and we want YOU to be part of the journey. As a reminder, here's the pitch!

Space Chef is a guns blazing cooking simulator, where you need to collect the ingredients yourself, by traveling to dangerous planets, hunting a multitude of different alien creatures and collecting plants.

Build and expand your home base by upgrading your kitchen to an optimized food factory. Craft incredibly dangerous but effective machines using only recycled junk found in space, like the Multimasher, which can be used to mash either potatoes or the infamous Bontha, unless it mashes you first.
