Education reforms are coming

Good day to you, friends.

Not long ago we shared with you about our plans to improve the research at University. Now is the time to unveil what we are planning to change. Work is being carried out in three directions at once, namely:

1) Research to improve the properties of troops, that will soon appear in the game.

2) Research to stregthen the spell effects, as well as to increase the chance of obtaining Soul Crystals

3) Refinement of existing research (as we've already demonstrated with Enhanced foundations)

From all of the above, one could conclude that the research tree is going to greatly grow, which means that a new window for it is required. So, University is about to get a whole new lease of life.

Thank you for your attention, see you soon.

A bit more on the troops we are about to add

Hi everyone!

Today we are briefly announcing reinforcements to the infantry troops. Two new units will be brought under Player's control.

Well, to be honest, the first one is not really new. It is more of a timeless classic. In different games they've called him a crusader, a paladin, a foot knight. We have not yet settled on the name, but the essence remains - a warrior with a sword chained in heavy armor.

When creating the second, we wondered what types of cold weapons are not shown in the game. The answer was found almost instantly: an axe! What could be better, right? Wrong: two axes are better than one. So we handed them to the new infantryman, and he became an Axeman.

About expanding the troop roster (sort of Pt. 2)

Greetings, friends.
Today we continue the announcement of new units under Player's control. Previously we've already shared ideas about additional mounted troops. Today we're going to confirm that Diplomacy is Not an Option is going to have "fire ship" except for the 'ship' part. We don't have naval battles in our game, though the concept of a unit that blows up and makes significant damage is very tempting. So our game designers came up with a brilliant idea of creating the 'cart with surprise' unit. It's gonna be... a cart; but when it faces the enemy it explodes in a ludicrous way.
Perhaps, sometime later we'll even share some concept art. But for now, that's all we wanted to tell you. Stay tuned!

Of new units under Player's control

Salute, Diplomacy is Not an Option fans.

From the day one of development, we followed a policy of not making false promises. That's exactly why we are tight-lipped when it comes to future features of the game. Until we were 100% sure that everything we planned was going to happen, we preferred to keep quiet.

But now we're so excited and enthusiastic about the progress of development that we want to share some ideas about what we're going to add to Diplomacy is Not an Option in the near future.

To begin with, our Lord's forces lacks cavalry. This is a minor confusion we are already correcting. So, on their way to the player's roster: Mounted archer and Jousting knight (you can't go without one in the Middle Ages). Surely, we will make a special building to recruit new units.
