This time your travels bring you to the land of extreme cold. Regular blizzards make your people freeze to death without warm clothes… But there’s a way to get them. The whole place is filled with wargs, and their pelts are warm enough to keep your people alive through the winter.

It doesn’t mean that wargs will part with their skins willingly. They are predators, and your people are a good source of meat - so after each blizzard more and more wargs leave their caves to hunt.

So it’s up to you who of the two hunters will become prey.

Development Diary (Part 24)

Good Lords, Fair Ladies!

It’s less than a week till the release! Meanwhile, we continue following the story arc of the Sarranga tribes.

As always, here is a video…

▶️Slowmo but not slowmo

…and details.

Remember that in the previous mission you were tasked with taking the undead boss’ head off? Well… That wasn’t a figure of speech, so now you literally have his head. Clean cut. And what to do with it now? Boast about your victory, of course!

There are just a couple of complications.

The first - you are in the middle of nowhere. The best place to show off your achievement is the Sarranga capital - which means you have to deliver your trophy there.

The second - the head is huge. Fortunately, you have Pequod - a giant bug that can deliver it (if you played pre-EA demo, you may find it a reference to the porter system). Less fortunately, it isn’t very bright and once it embarks on its journey there’s no way to turn or stop it.

That’s where the third complication appears. The Undead need the head to resurrect their boss, so the trip won’t be a walk in the park - even if you play on the Walk in the Park difficulty. Clear the path ahead and defend Pequod from attacks, explore the map to gather resource piles and hire some help from Sarranga’s outposts! Escort Pequod to the Sarranga’s capital!

This is it for today, but follow our news and don’t miss the release!
