IT'S SO CLAW-SOME!

We're also having a JUMBO SIZED stream to celebrate this JUMBO SIZED update - watch as Andrew... or at least some kind of monstrous Crab/Mutant version of Andrew tries to master all the latest content live!

- Ranged Weapons (Shotgun and Flamethrower) add a whole new layer to the combat! Found in crates, they are droppable.



- Ammo drops for your weapons mean if you're smart you can keep on shooting!



- Weapon Locking system which - if toggled on - means you won't auto-swap to a new weapon the moment you run over it!

-Barbeque food is generated from death-by-fire (Flamethrower bbq time!). This food gives more health, growth and score.

- Brand new Demon Crab (Legendary!) for players to unlock, with a unique Vortex Special Attack! ALso comes with 2 skins to unlock!



- MEGA BIG gameplay! Collect all the letters M-E-G-A-B-I-G and you'll be super-sized for a short time, and able to smash up scenery!?! The letters can be found in crates, chests, on the map, inside destructibles and even by killing the King!

- When MEGA BIG you are 250%+ size with huge Strength and Health, however health drain is high and accelerates over time. Once MEGA BIG is over, you return to regular size.

- While MEGA BIG you're able to destroy Trees, Rocks, Bones & Walls! They give good health and points, helping you to stay MEGA BIG for longer.



-Points bonuses for kill streaks 5, 10 and 20 player kills without dying, revenge kills and multi-kills.

-NPCs use special attacks on you when you are 100% and get more aggressive over time.

-Bigger overall buff from being King Crab

-Be MEGA BIG to destroy Trees, Rocks, bones & walls, They give good health and points. Helps you to stay big for longer.

- New Durability pickups found in crates. These increase the life of your weapons!

- Coin earnings from Crabs decided much more by the Crab level.

- You now get a free Continue if killed by someone more than 250% your size.

- You're made invincible for 4 secs after spawn, to protect you against other players.

- Leaderboard presentation refresh

- Shop Refresh

- 1 New Skin for all Common, Rare and Super Rare Crabs!

- Numerous other minor balancing changes.

The big update drops... TOMORROW

And we're teasing one last thing (don't worry, still plenty of un-talked-about-stuff to show tomorrow...) but it's a big Last Thing.

Yup, that's right... you can become as GOD(zilla) by collecting all of the letters that make up the words MEGA BIG that are hidden, scattered across the level - and in doing so become more... biggerer than... any Crab as ever embiggened... to!

When you're MEGA BIG you can smash foes and scenery alike! All shall cower in terror as your shadow casts across the world, announcing the doom of all who it touches!

It's a Legendary Crab, and it has a unique play style. Its special move is the Vortex Smash, which pulls everything towards it and then 💥🦀SMASHES THE CRAB OUT OF IT🦀💥

Positively devilish! Hell, as soon as this update comes out I'll be demonstrating it in action in a livestream... I hope!

😈It even has, naturally, a bunch of hecking skins to unlock😈

That's right, we're bringing FIREARMS to King of Crabs with the V2.10 release coming... soon!



The shotgun will riddle your enemies at range, blasting them with high damage attacks before they can close the distance! I'm not sure how such a tiny sawn-off came into existence, but don't worry too much about that - all you need is to get your claws clamped around the trigger and you'll be making crabsticks with your boomstick in no time at all!



The flamethrower lets you flambé and roast your foes to make them even tastier than before! This kitchen tool is usually deployed to add a touch of colour and flavour to dishes, crisping the edge of a delicious scallop or melting the cheese on a burger to perfection... but it works on crabs just fine too! A a ranged weapon for the real Crabby Connoisseur, your enemies will have no choice but to tip their (chef's) hat as you char them into oblivion!

But we're not stopping there!

• Where there are weapons there is ammo, so there'll be new pickups for that!
  
• You'll be able to 'lock' your weapon swap, so when you get your fave weapon in your claws, you won't auto-swap to another by running over it accidentally. Optional of course, but we now a few crustaceans who'll really love this toggle.
