IMPROVEMENTS/TWEAKS

• Improvements to matchmaking
  
• Tasmanian Giant crab Special activates faster

• Crab hat, Army Hat, Robot Squid hat have had their buffs nerfed - defence reduction.

The devs at Robot Squid are working hard on an update which should land pretty soon - hopefully it will address some key issues, and shows the commitment to keeping this game growing! We'll share specifics soon, but for now here's some aspects we're looking at right now (not all of these will appear in the first update, and as ever it's subject to change!):

• Save game-linking/mobile-to-steam account linking refinements (nor more headaches!).
  
• Better onboarding for new players.
  
• Bugfixes (hovering hats and the like!).
  
• New weapons/items.
  
• New skins.
  
• Plenty more...

Thank you so much for playing, because the launch has gone SO WELL! Over 50k players so far, countless hours of crab-smashing, mad streams by huge celebrities like xQc! We couldn't be happier!



As we continue to work towards the first big update (follow us and the game here on Steam, and join in on the discord to be the first to know our plans), the dev team has also been slaving away night and day to bring you this small update which fixes some of the most common and egregious bugs we've spotted!

• Improvements to movement control using mouse.
  
• Changes to default keyboard controls (makes it easier to get into the game first time)
  
• Server connection improvements, so if you've been having a laggy experience so far that should be sorted!
  
• Gain more Extra Lifes during play from Golden Hermits, Giant Conches and Crates.
  
• Boost, and Super Boost speeds slightly lower.
  
• Brown Crab special duration slightly shorter
  
• Brown Crab special charges faster
  
• Shorter Freeze durations
  
• Ice Wand has lower durability
  
• Poison Dagger has lower durability
  
• Shorter Dazed duration
  
• King's Shield has higher durability
  
• Robot Crab's rockets have slightly more range.
  
• Rainbow Crab's special causes more damage but is shorter duration.
  
• Fewer Rainbow Crab NPCs.
  
• Robot Squid Hat has reduced damage reduction.
  
• Free Extra Life size threshold increased.
  
• Extra Life ramp up slower
  
• Fixed graphical issues in-game
  
• Fixed a controls issue, meaning you won't get stuck boosting and not stopping
  
• Minor bug fixes
