Patch Notes for Version 1.21

This patch replaces the Lv3 residential house models, fixes some bugs in the tutorials and when loading savegames, and improves the LOD system.
We have revised all the models of the highest type of the residential houses. As a result, the houses now logically evolve to the third level and give your city a proper appearance even in the final stage of expansion. Furthermore, we have reworked the LOD system, which now results in fewer glitches in remotely located buildings. Finally, the residential buildings of the highest type are now also integrated into the LOD system. We also fixed some bugs in the two tutorials, which made the start into the game quite difficult and could lead to crashes. We also fixed some bugs in loading savegames, especially in war actions with the AI, and fixed some gameplay related bugs.

Engine

Added:

- Added 6 new models for the residential houses Lv3
- Added LOD1 and LOD2 models for the residential houses Lv3
- Revised residential house model LV2 type 2
- The torches of the farms can now be lit

Fixed:

- LOD system revised: remotely located buildings are now always rendered as LOD1 to save render costs
- Fixed a bug that caused flickering between the different LOD models of the buildings when the player moved around
- The correct LOD model of the cathedral is now displayed
- The LOD models of the residential buildings Lv1 are now instantiated in the correct place
- LOD models of the towers Lv1 revised
- Added backup for the city councils when the marketplace is not accessible
- The order to build the palace is now not started if the palace is already under construction
- Fixed a bug that caused the inhabitants not to close their eyes while sleeping
- Fixed a bug that caused the movement in the building menu not to work in the combat tutorial
- Fixed several bugs in the tutorial that caused crashes and freezes (e.g. after building the well)
- Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when loading savegames if the player was at war with the AI
- Fixed a bug in the attack behavior of the player's knight units that could lead to a crash when attacking them
- Fixed a bug that could cause the player's knight units to not be able to use the bridges
- Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when loading savegames if lightning was generated before ending the world generation


UI

Added:

- In the interaction menu of the buildings, the missing resources of construction sites are now displayed constantly updated

Fixed:

- It is now displayed the whole name of the inn Lv2 in the panel of community buildings
- The arrows are now hidden in the tutorial when the building menu is closed

Patch Notes for version 1.20

This patch unlocks new decoration objects, reduces the memory footprint of Empires and Tribes and shortens loading times.
You can now use various objects such as torches, benches or banners to embellish your settlement. You can find them in a new tab in the building menu. In addition, different types of trees can now be placed directly in the landscape.
Furthermore, we have dealt intensively with the memory usage of Empires and Tribes and were able to minimize it by optimizing some systems. This results in a generally lower RAM consumption and faster loading times when loading savegames and new maps in the current version.

- The tools in the construction menu are now visible in all tabs

Patch Notes for version 1.19

With this update, Empires and Tribes is now available in Russian.
We have also written a new shader to display the sphere of influence of public buildings, and now also show the sphere of influence of taverns and monasteries when building residential buildings.
Furthermore, some bugs in the pathfinding and AI behavior are fixed, whereby the latter now remains more aggressive even after loading savegames and attacks the player if necessary.

- Russian language added
- Added new shaders for displaying the sphere of influence of public buildings: The influence area of well, church, tavern, monastery and market is now represented by a mask with different colors in the building menu
- The availability of taverns and monasteries is now displayed when building residential buildings

Fixed:

- Fixed a crash when loading that occurred when AI combat units tried to attack an enemy unit that had just died
- Fixed a bug that caused the AI to stop attacking the player after loading savegames
- The town hall can now be extinguished by the water carriers and by the player when it is on fire
- The store can now also be extinguished by the water carriers when it is on fire
- Fixed a bug that caused the rotation of the camera in the building menu to be slightly off, which could cause graphical glitches
- Walls are now displayed correctly when the player is standing near them and no longer disappear (this only affects newly built wall pieces - walls from older savegames can still be unintentionally culled, unfortunately)
- Fixed a bug where two logs at a time could be picked up at the camp by the player
- Fixed a bug that caused the storage to be expanded immediately
- Fixed a bug that caused market carts to go to all farms after loading, even if certain farms were prioritized beforehand
- Fixed a bug that caused that, in rare cases after loading, prioritized farms were no longer visited at all
- Fixed a bug that prevented Lv2 type 2 houses from being upgraded after loading, even though all conditions were met.
- Fixed a bug in the pathfinding of the builders that could occur when building walls


UI

Fixed:

- The display of the well in the city level menu is now displayed correctly
- Fixed a bug that caused different farms to be displayed at the same time in the menu of production and crafting buildings
- Fixed a bug that caused the first item in the menu of production and craft buildings to be hidden in the menu when many buildings of the same type were built
- The menus of the production and craft buildings are now set to the first entry when the building type is changed
- Fixed a bug where the loading screen could be closed unexpectedly during loading by pressing Escape
