We're excited to bring you the brand-new trailer for our upcoming free DEVOUR map, The Inn. Check it out now, if you dare...

The Inn will release on September 23rd, 2021. As with our previous map, The Inn will be available for free to anyone who already owns DEVOUR. As part of this update, we will also be introducing a levelling system, player perks, cosmetics and more!

Gather your team, dust off your robes, steady your nerves. It's almost time...

We've given you a sneak peek, but we know you're all desperate for further details on DEVOUR's new, upcoming map The Inn.

While we're still keeping back some of our biggest surprises, we're excited to announce that we've been hard at work on some brand-new gameplay mechanics. This time, you'll need to summon your very best coordination skills to make it through the map without being beaten by Zara.

Instead of sacrificing animals, you'll need to find a way to destroy giant, demonic spider eggs using a Japanese onsen, a number of unique symbols, and more.







What happens after that, where the eggs come from, how Zara will try to stop you, how spiders figure into all of this.. we'll leave to your capably dark imaginations. However, we will tease you further with a couple more tantalisingly creepy images:

Here at DEVOUR, we're very excited to announce the winner of our recent fan art competition, which has been running over the last two weeks.

Originally, we were going to choose just one piece of art to include as posters in our new, upcoming map The Inn. However, we received so many fantastic entries that we found it hard to choose, so we've chosen two!

Congratulations to both winners! We hope players have fun looking for these as posters in our new map once it releases.

We'd like to mention that, although they won't appear in game, we were also particularly impressed by these entries from (L-R) LoveLaurenn, Danni, billions-of-pounds-in-debt, Bat, and Ricky4Peeps.



We genuinely loved every submission however, and we'd like to thank everyone who entered. We had a fantastic time looking at all your incredibly inventive pieces.

The team at DEVOUR are really excited to bring you details of our upcoming new map, The Inn. In this terrifying addition to the game, Zara will be the one chasing you down – in ways that will be brand new to our current fans.

We are implementing some exciting new mechanics and objectives to reinvent the gameplay you've all enjoyed in our first two maps, and we can't wait to see what you think!



The Inn is set in Zara's native Japan, where she has been hiding out in the caves beside her family owned guest-house. Using rituals remembered from her time with satanic cult The Watchers, Zara has been trying to summon the goat demon Azazel. But Azazel has possessed Zara's body and mind in the cruellest of ways: now, she will be switching between her human form and that of a terrifying, giant spider, commanding hordes of venomous demon spiderlings.

We're aiming to release The Inn by the start of October 2021 for free.







We're also excited to announce that we are currently working on other features to improve the game experience, such as a rank/leveling system, player perks and new outfits. Stick with us for more information in the future.

Calling all digital artists!

We're running a competition to have a piece of fan art included in DEVOUR's new, upcoming map.
We're looking for something that will be used as a large wall poster (will not be framed). The style should be modern, Japanese, and without any English text. Use of Japanese characters is okay.

Something along the lines of a movie, music or food poster would be ideal. We're especially interested in comical ideas that link to DEVOUR thematically.

Art should be submitted via the #art-contest channel of our Discord server. High resolution image files only (PNG/JPG), please. Final date for submissions is August 5th, 2021. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions in the comment section below.
