The Last Faith Patch 2.1.0 - Patch Notes

Since the release of Awakened Ancients DLC, we've been closely monitoring our communities and tracking any bugs that you report. Below is a comprehensive list of the latest changes on PC, including changes designed for better balancing and performance.

If you are on console, it will take additional time for console changes to be released. Please bear with us, and post any bugs you find in the Awakened Ancients DLC subforum.

Detailed Changelog


[h2]General[/h2]
  • Added auto resolution scaling at the start of the game, now it will detect your display and automatically set the resolution up to 1920x1080.
  • Added keybind change that allows you to close the map with the button that opens it.
  • Updated the credits scene in the main menu.

[h2]Dungeon Mode[/h2]
  • Characters in Dungeon Mode no longer scale with Eryk’s weapon level and Heart of Nycrux bonuses, instead they will get the current NG+ moon upgrade and level 2 weapon. Players can still get Eryk’s consumables, charms, stigmas, healing holster upgrades and metroidvania abilities.
  • Fixed an issue which caused Dungeon Entrance and Transform Altar to be slightly rotated and falling briefly to their position after scene load.

[h2]New Game Plus[/h2]
  • Removed NG+ Arcane level cap after NG+3, now the maximum level will be increasing by 10 after that, just like the previous levels.
  • NG+ Arcane levels are now locked behind blueprints, just like melee weapons, with the exception that they do not need to be given to Mariano beforehand.
  • Changed NG+ Arcane spell damage multiplier 0.1→0.06, and secondary multiplier 0.05→0.035
  • Changes to enemy and boss scaling related to health and damage for each NG+.
  • Enemies and bosses will now continue to scale after NG+5 with the exception of damage.
  • Those will now scale additionally based on current NG+ level: Stigma of Reprive, Stigma of Transcendence, Throwable bombs, boxes, chairs.
  • Fixed an issue which made Old Butcher and Eldritch Wight to use incorrect scaling in NG+, health is now greatly reduced.

[h2]Localization[/h2]
  • Fixed a problem with all localizations which made the English version to show up for Sandy dialogue when getting the reward.
  • Fixed a problem with Polish localization which made the text overlap for details in Consecrated Flame details.
  • Fixed a problem with Italian localization which showed description and not the usage text for Labradorite gemstone.
  • Fixed a problem with Spanish localization which caused game to sometimes freeze when pass through tutorial was about to show.
  • Fixed a problem with Russian localization which made the text overlap in Arcane Altar menu.

[h2]Player[/h2]
  • Removed healing that occurred after Beast Mode expiring.
  • Fixed a problem which allowed charms to be stacked.
  • Fixed an issue which made enemies stuck and invulnerable if killed by the dark damage over time effect.

[h2]Weapons and Spells[/h2]
  • Increased base damage for Nightfall Blade, Nighttide's Rout, Skullcleaver, Colonel's Blunderbuss, Federal Admiral’s Cannon, Barsov’s Electrocution.
  • Increased skill damage for Nightfall Blade, Nighttide's Rout, Skullcleaver, Reclaimed Blade, Muramasa.
  • Reduced skill damage for Firestriker, Leporidae's Spirit, Severance Reaper, Holy Winged Axe.
  • Firestriker: Increased projectile hitbox size.
  • Illygarth Boreal Blade: Reduced sword projectile damage.
  • Rift of Blood: Fixed a problem which turned weapon into Firestriker until player stopped attacking when transitioning from air attack 2 to grounded combo.
  • Doppietta: Increased damage bonus against large enemies and giant enemies.
  • Consecrated Flame: Increased damage max health scaling against enemies and bosses
Barsov's Electrocution
  • Increased electrocuted status.
  • Reduced mana cost by 1.
Lunar Heart Of The Ascended
  • Increased active hold duration.
  • No longer targets invulnerable enemies.
  • Removed time stop on impact.
  • Fixed impact particles not spawning in the proper position.
Muramasa
  • Reduced skill dark projectile damage.
  • Fixed inconsistency between Eryk and Kalar versions.
Leporidae’s Spirit
  • Reduced final combo spin damage.
  • Replaced Leporidae’s Spirit skill ground impact time stop to a camera shake.

[h3]Enemies[/h3]
  • Fixed a rare problem that made enemies play death animation twice.
  • Increased health of Plague Doctor, Doomed Atrocity, and Netherwing.
  • Can no longer parry charged attacks from Stray Cold One, Grotesque Courtier, and Cold One Shielder.
  • Old Vigilante: Fixed bullet SFX and VFX triggering when player was invulnerable.
  • Corrupted Wolf: Now must be able to reach the player to detect him and trigger burning behavior.
Cold One Shielder
  • Slightly increased charge time of slam pattern.
  • Adjusted position of charged attack effect.
  • Fixed an issue related to shielded enemies which could cause some damage to be nullified.
Plague Doctor
  • Increased animation speeds.
  • Increased flamethrower burned status.
  • Reduced flamethrower damage and active duration.
  • Increased dodge speed.
  • Removed starting cooldown of whip attack.
  • Reduced whip attack cooldown randomization bracket.
  • Reduced next pattern selection.
Doomed Atrocity
  • Increased range required to cast pattern.
  • Increased attack animation speed.

[h2]Bosses[/h2]
  • Reduced dark defense for Giant Patron, Edwyn, Harbinger of Nightmare, Eldritch Wight and Junas High Priest.
  • Amended amount of Nycrux rewarded from defeating Caterina and Annabella and Medeya.
  • Improved hitboxes on animations for Edwyn, Starlight Beast of Illygarth and Manfred.
  • Leena: Added frozen status immunity.
  • Starlight Beast of Illygarth: Reduced frost and electricity defenses.
  • Medeya: Reduced frost defense.


Burnt Wraith
  • Reduced fire and dark defense.
  • Added frozen status immunity.
  • Fixed cutscene visual issue.


Lisa
  • Increased flip animation speed and changed all flip variations to also use this bonus.
  • Increased flamethrower animation speed.
  • Fixed a spawning issue in Boss Rush Mode.
  • Fixed bullet SFX and VFX triggering when player was invulnerable.


Pyre Wight
  • Increased health.
  • Reduced fire defense.
  • Increased cooldown for selection of new pattern by 1 second.
  • Reduced flying speed.
  • Increased charged dash attack pattern hitbox size.
  • Increased recast of ultimate cooldown by 1 pattern.
  • Reduced fire pillar damage.
  • Changed positioning of explosions after infernal fall pattern.
  • Added 2 more explosion after infernal fall on phase 2.
  • Infernal fall explosions will now have lower volume and pitch randomization.
  • Reduced fire orb explosion sound volume.


Flash Cloak
  • Increased health.
  • Reduced electricity defense.
  • Reduced cooldowns of quick dash and attack.
  • Reduced minimum range to start charged slash.
  • Increase speed of Electricity sphere projectiles.
  • Increased ultimate duration.
  • Increased ultimate spinning blade damage.
  • Reduced patterns required to force recast of ultimate by 3 patterns.
  • Reduced cooldowns before next pattern after normal slash, charged slashg and ultimate.


Unforgiven
  • Increased health.
  • Reduced frost defense.
  • Reduced jump cooldown.
  • Increased cooldown of projectile attack by 1 pattern.
  • Increased cooldown for selection of new pattern by 1 second.
  • Reduced jump whip attack by 1 pattern selection.
  • Reduced patterns required to force recast of ultimate by 1 pattern.
  • Increased speed and damage of frost spike rune projectiles.
  • Reduced cooldown of spawning a new rune.
  • Increased rune speed and time required to reach top speed.
  • Increased shield scaling from max health.
  • Increased maximum shield value that can be stacked.
  • Fixed an issue with frost beam hitbox in air.
  • Fixed a visual problem with frost beam particles.


Winged Fiend
  • Increased health.
  • Increased blood defense.
  • Reduced fire defense.
  • Slightly increased hitbox size.
  • Reduced blood orbs charge duration.
  • Increased blood orb damage.
  • Red electricity orbs now pass iFrames, added white flash as a warning.
  • Teleporting no longer delays pattern selection cooldown.
  • Reduced blood spikes charge duration.
  • Reduced time required to do teleport if player is close.
  • Reduced delay before next sequence in ultimate.


Junas High Priest
  • Reduced health.
  • Reduced charge time of casting dark orb and dual slashes.
  • Increased teleport animation speed.
  • Increased active duration of dark orb by 3 seconds.
  • Reduced initial warning duration of dark orb.
  • Increased dual slashes projectile speed.
  • Increased raybeam cast animation speed.
  • Increased amount of clones needed to be killed.
  • Clones no longer have starting attack cooldown.
  • Reduced rest time after being found.
  • Fixed occasional issue of clones becoming invulnerable for short duration.
  • Fixed a problem that froze the game when player defeated this boss and left the arena before getting rewards.
  • Fixed a specific issue when Doomed Atrocity was summoned.
