The game begins with the arrest of a group of rebels in the 1848 Paris uprising. The player controls one of those rebels, named Victor. After soldiers capture them, Victor remembers how the whole story began and starts to tell it to the people around him.

In the demo, you're going to play the fourth episode of the game. In that episode, Victor and his friend Alexandre will step in the violent events of the July revolution in 1830, Paris.
