Come to Tinkertown: The Early Access Gates are open!

Hello fellow Tinkerers!

A small step for mankind, but a big step for us at Headup: It’s finally Tinkerday! ːsteamhappyː

We have been around for over a decade, porting and publishing independent games from great external development teams. But now we are treading into uncharted waters by delivering our first fully internal production, launching today into Early Access and giving our baby into your hands, hoping that you will treat it kindly.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
With Tinkertown, we are realizing a design idea which has been floating in our heads since the beginning of our partnership with Re-Logic years ago for whom we had the honor to create the PC Collector’s Edition of Terraria. Huge respect for this game and the genre and lovingly having spent our childhood exploring the kingdom of Hyrule has led to the clear vision: Creating a cheerful sandbox game in the aesthetics of the old 16bit RPGs but leveraging the possibilities of modern game development such as visual effects, online multiplayer and more. And bringing the original composer of The Secret of Mana OST on board this project was a true dream come true to our inner fanboys.

Today we are making the foundation of this vision available to you and are super-excited and partially scared of the feedback to come. We honestly hope that you will understand that this is meant to be the beginning of a wonderful journey together and far from being a full game release.

Because of this, it is extremely important to give you a better understanding on what is about to come and how we are planning to grow the game with you. For this reason, we are sharing our roadmap today – which of course is not set in stone as it so very much also depends on you, the players, providing us with your feedback and wishes.

There are so many things planned to give the game more depth over time, both horizontally with more biomes, enemies, NPCs, furniture, recipes, etc. as well as vertically by introduction of new mechanics, items, gear, loadout, dungeons, bosses and much more. Please check our roadmap image and feel free get in touch with us on Discord for more details.

Now, enough of the babbling, we have a game to launch! Thank you for your support, your love and your kindness and see you all in Tinkertown!
