Hey there, Strikers!
Summer's almost gone 🚪, but it was full of events and kept us occupied for sure. We traveled a lot and took the Swing Striker with us! One such travel led us to Dallas for DreamHack back in May!
Various folks visited, including esports stars both established and emerging. Their appreciation was humbling! We also got some vital feedback that will help us improve the game further.
[h2]So what's been going on in the project?[/h2]
We're still deep in development — sanding off the rough edges, testing new mechanics 🛠️, and occasionally asking ourselves “What if the ball had feelings?” 🤔 We don’t know where that thread leads, but we’re not ruling anything out.
Right now, we're exploring ways to complete the project and secure funding (translation: we’re juggling design docs and pitch decks like hot potatoes). But rest assured, the world will get Swing Striker. It’s just too ridiculous not to exist.
Our dedication to present the world with the answer to the “What if soccer... but unhinged?” question remains unwavering. We hope that soon enough you will also be able to grab a controller, test your reflexes, and scream like a champion when you accidentally score 🥳.
