Oh wow, uh, we don't even know where to start. Um, first off, we didn't expect this, like, at all. The competition in the "Best Inadvertent Tripping Simulator" at this year's 15th Annual Devolver Delayed was intense but alas, we came out on top!

Thank you to everyone who, you know, did stuff to make this possible. Our families, our pets, and everyone who voted for us. Oh, and obviously our biggest thanks go to Devolver Digital, who made it possible for us to delay Baby Steps to 2025.

Oh, right! We almost forgot to mention the other nominees. Pub Crawlin', that game is incredible. Clumsy Wumsy, just mind-blowing. And Trip Lads, a game with unmatched creativity that leaves everyone in awe, including us. Honestly, sharing this category with these masterpieces is a win in itself.

Anyway... wishlist Baby Steps now. It's launching in 2025.

One of the games shown during the State of Play was the walking simulator game Baby Steps, published by Devolver Digital and developed by Gabe Cuzzillo, Maxi Boch, and Bennet Foddy. Baby Steps puts you in the bare feet of Nate, an unemployed failson with nothing going for him, until one day he discovers a power he never knew he had: putting one foot in front of the other.
