BETA CLIENT 0.2.4

  • Added quests for the Kino region. This is still ongoing, meaning more quests are worked on, will be rolled out with the next patches.
  • Fixed some issues with some helmet gear items.
  • Improved the biome around Naerocks.
  • Testing a new design for entity name plates.
  • Started working on Orc species.
  • Started working on video clips for the loading screen.

  • The lobby character creation camera is now properly configured.
  • Fixed issues with the strength of wind.

Beta Client 0.2.2

[h2]Engine[/h2]
  • Updated the game client to Unreal Engine version 4.26

This includes several changes affecting lightning, many technology features, and how the game behaves in general. Part of this engine update can be seen in the new weather system, for instance with volumetric clouds.


[h2]Weather[/h2]
  • Added various weather effects, current season is summer in all accessible regions.
  • Added wind.

The weather system is still considered experimental, for instance not all plants or trees may yet be affected by wind speed. Later, different regions will have different weather.


[h2]Login[/h2]
  • After level loading a second login is required, this will be made automated with the next patch.


[h2]Ladder[/h2]
  • Player experience is now recorded upon level-up. However, loading and display of ladder entries may not yet work, will be available soon, but entries are recorded now.


[h2]Regions[/h2]
  • The new region content for Kino Pouri is now part of the game.


[h2]Fixed[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug preventing reloading of player characters when visiting the Lobby Heroes panel more than once.
  • Fixed a problem with opening and closing of the skill and quest panels.

  • Made some adjustments to the character creation screen camera perspective, needs further testing. The problem, results are different on live game compared to the development setup.

  • The spiders and melee skeletons inside the spider dungeon attack the player now.
  • Fixed an issue with the new weapon trail duplicating the player weapon.
  • Level of NPC scaled to the player level are now properly displayed.

  • Swimming up is working now. However, when reaching the surface the player will try to walk, and when still swimming results in falling a little. This will be improved in an upcoming patch, since the ocean will be updated in the next few weeks.
