I'd wager that when you think of a soulslike, a fantasy medieval setting comes to mind - clashing steel, mythical creatures, and giant gothic-inspired castles are what I think of, that's for sure. But ever since FromSoftware birthed an entire genre with Demon's and Dark Souls, there have been plenty of developers taking soulslikes to new places.
