Development Branch update - v0.8.001

Hello Terraformers!

I've just updated a new version (v0.8.001) on the development branch.
To try it, see the "How to switch branches?" question in the FAQ.

This version is a very early preview of the next update. Including space trading & frogs. It will change a lot before the final update, and there's more to come.

As usual, restart Steam to get the update, and backup your save before trying the dev branch.
If you have issues launching the game, remove all your mods before reporting bugs.

v 0.8.001 - Temporary changelog :

New space trading system :
The new space trading platform allow to send a rocket containing items to be sold in space
After a certain time, the rocket will come back, giving the player an amount of "Terra Tokens" corresponding to the rocket content price
Once the player have enough tokens, he or she can buy items that will be added in the returning rocket content on the next trip
In order to gain tokens easily, the player can use drones to fill the rockets and set it up to automatically launch once full
The values of items are not final, let us know your opinions on this
(You will receive the recipe by mail once you reached the breathable stage - play a bit to receive the mail)

New terraformation stage - amphibians :
Frogs and frog eggs appears in the wild when amphibians stage is reached
Frog eggs can be modified in incubator once unlocked
(Frogs movements and animations will be improved)

Changes :
One new meteo event (triggers only after breathable stage)

New Items :
Space trading platform
Multiple frog eggs to find or craft
Mutagen T4
Terra Tokens chips
Amphibian farm

New Items to buy or unlock via the space trading platform :
3x3 pod habitat
3x3 pod habitat with dome
Storage container with 80 slots
Cooking station
One new butterfly species
One new fish species
Colored Fabric
Colored sofa
Colored double bed
Cacao and wheet seeds

Improvements :
Foundations and stairs now snap to the launch platform

Bugfixes :
Fix tool tips always staying on bug

Performances :
Flatten game object hierarchy to improve performances
Disable map camera by default
Some small improvements here & there

Balancing :
Mutagen 3 unlock after fish stage

The ability to incubate & discover more than 10 species of frog
A brand-new space trading system! Export items to gain new "Terra Tokens" by sending trade rockets and unlock new recipes and items
The cooking station you discovered in the anniversary update is added back to the game
A new cool biome : the "Cenote", filled with water and secrets!
New items, collectibles, secrets and achievements!

Anniversary special event ending

Hello terraformers!

We reached the end of the anniversary temporary event.
Thanks to everyone who participate in the small celebration for the one year of Planet Crafter!

We hope you liked baking some pastries and cakes in the little special bunker!

You will keep all the items you crafted during the event, but the bunker won't be accessible anymore. Due to the popularity of the baking station, there's high chances it will come back in the game in the future, but it's not clear how exactly yet.

After a year of Early Access, Miju Games as a company needs to take some time to ensure it is properly structured. So we are aiming at this summer for the next update but we won't promise any specific date. We already have great ideas for it!

Planet Crafter anniversary special event

Hello Terraformers!

[h2]It's been a year since Planet Crafter launched in early access![/h2]

This year has been wild, and it's the perfect time to reflect on what happened.

First of all, the reception of the game has been far better than we ever anticipated. With more than 500.000 copies sold during this year and a 96.5% overwhelmingly positive Steam rating, the success of the game has blown us away.
We kept our word and published 4 major updates while listening and integrating the community feedback along the way. We will release at least one more update until the 1.0 launch, and we will continue maintaining and updating the game after that.
This pushes us further to fully commit to the development of the game for a long time. We will improve the game the best we can, while keeping true to our initial launch statement.

[h2]Anniversary Special Event![/h2]

Warning : The event is now over, but there's high chance the secret bunker and recipes will be back in the future! Follow us on Steam to avoid missing the next one!

To celebrate we added a secret bunker in the game, containing a new cool feature inside! It will be available for the next two weeks.

Find the hidden bunker to discover its celebration content!

"Fish & Drones" Patch #1 - Main branch

Hello Terraformers!

I've just uploaded a small patch on the main branch.
As usual, restart Steam to get the patch.

Remove grabbing of drones (not usefull & prone to bugs)
Remove logistics on containers not crafted by players (wrecks and outside) (not logical & was leading to bugs)
Fix a bug where drones would "loop" in the stations

Fix russian translation issue
Deconstruction chip t2 does not require nitrogen anymore
Try to fix a bug with algae and trees not spawning or bugging
