Planet Crafter demo is available on Steam!

Hello Terraformers!

We are thrilled to announce that, for a limited time only, we are sharing the game with the Steam community!

Starting now, and for the next few weeks, the latest version of the game is freely available as a demo on Steam!

Discover the new Seed Spreader and a lot of other improvements!

V 0.3.004 - Seed Spreader Update


New Objects :
- Seed spreader : Grow your first plants outside!

New features :
- "Move all" option on inventories

Bug fix :
- All Biomes should appear correctly, even from far away
- Fixed a problem where when you die the biome environment was staying everywhere
- Fixed a problem where 0² stoped decreasing after you died

Minor changes :
- More ores in the canyons biome
- Added the logo of the game in the pause menu
- Reduce RED intensity in the Spikes biomes
- Add more detail to LaunchPlatform description
- LaunchPlatform does not collide with ores anymore (easier to place launchpad)
- Foundation does not collide with ores anymore
- Visual improvements : Crispen image
- Visual improvements : new "Maximum" visual settings level
- UI : new display of 0² & Thirst gauges
- UI : improve settings panel accessibility
- Added a newsletter subscription in the title screen

Here's the full changelog:

V 0.3.003 - Space Rockets update


Major Changes :
- New biome : Canyons
- Space rockets can be sent in space adding GLOBAL multipliers to units generation
- Seeds now have different "production bonus" that will increase the generation of the vegetube they're placed in
- 4 new meteo events with associate ambiance sounds. Better meteo system
- The starting location will now vary on each new game
- "Spikes biome" has been improved
- Inventories can contains constructibles item that can be built.


New features :
- New alert (visual + audio) when unlocking an object
- Each seed type now gives a different 0² generation bonus
- UI : units generation and consumptions are now displayed on objects
- Golden crates are hidden in the world and contains rare items (7 crates for this version)


New Objects :
- Launch Platform & space rockets
- Small nuclear reactor
- Locker Storage
- 3 new seeds
- 1 Golden Effigie (findable in golden crates)


Bug fix :
- Iridium rod correctly cost 9 Iridium ore
- Heaters in wrecks are no more counted as if they were constructed by the player
- Bug fix where dust/fog was entering inside the base
- Fix Collisions on biodome ceilling
- You cannot restore 0² under water in living spaces anymore
- Items dropped in wrecks should not disappear anymore
- Close all UI when dying
- No more footsteps sounds under water
- No more hard limits to world units (Ti, heat, oxygen, pressure, energy)
- Screen now correctly display the units label when there is a "μ" in it


Minor changes :
- 0² capsule now require two cobalt instead of iron + cobalt
- Deconstruct microchip is craftable in the CraftStation T1 again
- Living pods & biodome glasses are more transparent
- Small increase of Drill T1, Heater T2, Backpack unlock levels.
- More text available on containers
- When writing a text on a object, pressing "enter" close the dialog window
- Constructing panels inside is brought back (for now)
- UI : informations & alerts are easier to read
- UI : If a crate have a text associated, the text is place next to "open" action
- UI : Object name with the "open" action
- Screens & Craftstations now consume energy
- Minor changes in ships interior
- Improved seeds visuals

V 0.3.001 - The Watery Update

New features :
- Water level rise on some places depending on terraformation index
- Multiple save files handling
- Auto sort inventory button
- Items in inventory can be dropped
- Some items can now be colorized (for now : beacons)
- Options to change mouse axis
- Some rare items in world can now appear randomly

Major Changes :
- New biome : Sand Cave
- Biodome can now be rotated
- Biodome now snaps to existing pods
- Spaceships interior has been reworked
- Constructibles objects can now be found in wrecks and deconstructed

New Objects :
- Beacons
- Exoskeleton T2 (8 more slots)
- Heater T3
- Iridium rod
- Uranium rod
- Communication antenna
- Communication screen
- Advanced craft station

Game Design :
- Dropped resources do not have to be re-mined anymore
- Added a microchip - Construction.
- Blueprints are now linked to a type of craft station. Meaning some objects can only be crafted in higher tier craft stations.
- There is now big objects blocking the path in wrecks, player will have to deconstruct it.
- World crates and objects can now be deconstructed

Bug fix :
- Pods panels (doors / windows) don't disapear when pressing escape or left click
- Ghost show correctly in front of planets
- Added limits to world to avoid falling in void
- UI fix for wide screens (blueprints, messages, etc...)
- Biome with spikes was sometimes not loading
- Terrain do not hides ore names anymore
- Cant get oxygen from outside of pod anymore
- Improve reaparition when dying (center of the last living pod) & triggers
- Light microchip work even on low performances settings
- "Corridors" panels are excluded from a new panels building snapping
- Steps sounds stop when jumping
- Drills can now be rotated

Minor changes :
- Stairs size & hitbox increased
- Improve pods colliders
- Can now construct outside elements on living pods roof's
- Improve colliders on craftstation
- Fix problem where airbottles T2 where flying when dropped on floor
- Reduce size of droped objects
- Player respawn quickly if fallen under map
- Improve transition between the environment of biomes
- Reduce night time

I'm currently working on the landscape, creating the world, adding the first biomes and space ship wrecks for you to loot and explore!
