Movie World Developer Blog 1 - Introduction
Hello everyone! This is a first blog post on the game called Movie World.
Firstly, I want to share with you my backstory on how the game came to be. I started this project one year ago because I really wanted to play a hybrid between a game The Movies and more, casual games like Mad Games Tycoon and Game Dev Tycoon. I remember that there was another game listed on steam from another studio that was exactly what I wanted, but since the development of that game stopped, I decided to make my own game.
I'm sure you've all seen a game description, so I will not bother you with that, instead, I will give you small snippets of information that you might find useful and later on expand and go more in-depth on all of the features in the upcoming blogs.
At the moment game is playable. However, I still need to add two big features and update a few of the older ones. I initially planned the game to come out this summer, but I decided to delay it and work on the design and expand on the already built-in features. I can't give you an exact date of the game's release yet, but it should come out by the end of the year. I plan on finishing up the game and then create a small free demo version for you guys to try before the final release.
