Borderlands 4 has had a successful launch on Xbox, PC, and PS5, but just 10 days out from its Nintendo Switch 2 launch, it has been delayed indefinitely.
The immensely popular looter-shooter, Borderlands 4, launched earlier this month to widespread acclaim. Many reviews touted the title as a ‘return to form,’ with the median critical score on Metacritic hitting 82 percent. However, fans have recently flooded the lane with bad scores, claiming the title has poor performance regardless of console or gaming rig.
Over on Steam, what was once read as a “positive” reception has changed to mixed due to performance issues fans are having, and they’re voicing the issues that are occurring. Potentially due to the current performance issues on PS5, Xbox, and PC, Gearbox has decided to outright delay the Nintendo Switch 2 port for Borderlands 4 indefinitely, with Nintendo rolling out refunds for pre-orders.
