All Borderlands 4 legendary weapons we've seen so far

What are all the Borderlands 4 legendary weapons so far? Fortunately, Gearbox has confirmed that legendaries are rarer and harder to obtain in Borderlands 4, making them feel well earned when encountering a tough boss fight or randomly stumbling on them thanks to sheer luck.


Both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3 had a tricky time with finding the right balance when it came to legendary loot, and although there are some returning fan favorites, it's the new inventions we're most looking forward to getting our hands on in Borderlands 4. As the Borderlands 4 release date approaches, we've already seen some of the legendary weapons coming to the looter shooter.

Borderlands 4 system requirements

The Borderlands 4 system requirements have been revealed, and they're a lot more demanding than we expected. Despite this, there appears to be no upscaling used to meet the requirements, which is a big positive compared to the likes of FBC Firebreak and Hell is Us.


You aren't going to need the best gaming PC to run Borderlands 4, let's make that clear nice and early. However, the specs start a little higher than a lot of other modern 3D games, meaning some upgrades could be required if you're going to want to play at 4K with a solid 60fps frame rate.

When Elpis arrived in Kairos' orbit and unleashed cataclysmic destruction, the Timekeeper locked down the city and sent his Commanders to deal with the fallout firsthand. Now, the Timekeeper watches over Kairos from the safety of his tower while his Commanders maintain his Order. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Callis, the Ripper Queen, rules over the shattered lands of Carcadia Burn and denounces the Timekeeper's mind-controlling methods, while the hulking Idolator Sol terrorizes the rolling hills of the Fadefields and remains loyal and subservient to the Timekeeper. Lastly there's Vile Lictor, overseer of the Terminus Range's frigid peaks; he doesn't appear in this Story Trailer, but you can see his fearsome final form in our Official Gameplay Deep Dive video.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]If you want any hope of crossing the war-torn regions of Kairos to get to the Timekeeper in his city stronghold, you'll need more than a few allies by your side. Until now, the Timekeeper has ruthlessly crushed any and all opposition, but the catastrophic arrival of Elpis has disrupted his perfect Order.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]From humble beginnings, you'll need to travel across Kairos and ignite the revolution against the Timekeeper. People all across Kairos have begun to rise up, and this powderkeg is set to explode. Enter Claptrap, self-proclaimed mastermind behind the Crimson Resistance, who's set on making the Vault Hunters his newest recruits.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]In our story trailer, you'll see some returning fan-favorite characters like Amara, Moxxi, and Zane, along with new faces like the leaders of three resistance factions on Kairos: [/p][p][/p]
  • [p]The Outbounders, led by Rush, who all crash-landed onto Kairos much like the Vault Hunters. This resourceful group longs to leave this prison planet, and they've been a persistent thorn in Idolator's Sol side.[/p]
  • [p]The Augers, led by Defiant Calder. These mountainous miners have been on Kairos for centuries. For the Augers, Kairos is home—one worth fighting the Timekeeper to keep.[/p]
  • [p]And finally the Electi, once favored citizens of Dominion City who were locked out when Elpis arrived, are led by Levaine. Life in the Timekeeper's shadow is hard enough, but life in the eyeline of the Ripper Queen has given the Electi the ultimate survival challenge.[/p]

That's just one of several fresh reasons to look forward to the upcoming co-op FPS, as we get a look at the official Borderlands 4 story trailer. At the Borderlands 4 Fanfest event, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford and chief creative officer Randy Varnell took to the stage to give us one more rundown of what we can expect for the long-awaited sequel in the approach to launch. The pair also give us some more details on the four classes, and yet another hint at what could be the game's rarest loot tier.
