Doom becomes a roguelike in this brutal FPS now at its lowest-ever price

BPM: Bullets Per Minute is a Doom-inspired roguelike FPS rhythm game. While that might sound like a random mishmash of genres, I hope developers like Awe Interactive never stop experimenting because BPM is a wonderfully unique experience. Right now, it's included in the Speedrunning with GDQ Humble Bundle, so you can get it for what works out at just $1.71 / £1.35.

BPM x Robobeat Collab Announcement

Are you looking for a real challenge?

Shooting is easy. Shooting in sync to a rock opera epic or an EDM anthem requires real skill.
That’s why we’re preparing the ultimate rhythm shooter game bundle just for you.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

We’ll be offering the perfect bundle for rhythm shooter fans when Robobeat launches on May 14th.
The upcoming bundle will include:

BPM: Bullets Per Minute, and Robobeat, a roguelite rhythm shooter where you take on the role of robo-gunslinger Ace as he hunts down the chaotic showman Frazzer. Wall run, slide, and bunny hop your way through Frazzer’s ever-shifting lair, and shoot in sync to the music to maximize your damage. Uncover new cassettes to use as you play, or march to the beat of your own drum by uploading your tracks using the custom music feature and playing with the songs you love.

If you already own BPM: Bullets Per Minute, you’ll still be able to take advantage of the bundle. Instead of buying the full bundle, however, you’ll be given the option to complete the set and receive a 10% discount on Robobeat, which will stack with any other discounts that are available on Robobeat at the time!

Robobeat will be releasing on May 14th, but they currently have a demo available on their store page for you to try out.

Alongside the bundle, Robobeat will also be including a BPM-style room and two tracks from the BPM: Bullets Per Minute soundtrack in the game, so keep an eye out for those when the game releases on May 14th.

When we originally released BPM: Bullets Per Minute, we had no idea that it would become so popular and we are still incredibly grateful to our fans for making this possible. With this bundle, we’re hoping to bring more recognition to the rhythm shooter genre and make sure you get more of the fast, frenetic, and rhythmical action that started with BPM: Bullets Per Minute.

BPM: Custom Music Update

BPM's most requested feature is finally here: Custom Music.

We've been very busy working on the Nintendo Switch port of BPM, but now that's done we are finally able to bring this feature to BPM on PC.

You are now able to add music that you have created into BPM, and will be able to shoot, dodge and dash to the beat of your own soundtrack.

Here is a tutorial video that will show you how to get your music set up to work in BPM:

Notes & Known Issues:

  • .MP3 files may cause syncing issues which could result in the music going out of time with the beat. Use .WAV to be safe.
  • BPM will likely stutter (temporarily) a number of times throughout gameplay due to this update. This is completely temporary and because your GPU needs to recache shaders.
  • Custom music can only be toggled on or off from the main menu.
  • In Custom Music mode, pausing and unpausing the game will cause the music to restart.
  • In Custom Music mode, your track's name and bpm will be displayed on the in-game TAB menu
  • The game will recalibrate your BPM to be between 60 and 120 BPM. In our testing we think the game plays best with songs that are 70-90BPM.
