❗ An Update On Awoken: Chapter One of Reverie ❗
I would like to introduce myself. I am Spades, the new Community Manager for Devious Eye Entertainment on Steam. I am fairly new to the team and I would like to bring to light an important situation that we have not addressed in some time.
Devious Eye Entertainment knows we have made a mistake by being absent and not addressing the glitches, AI inconsistencies, issues with Mount Moira's environmental design, and much, much more. I have read all of the reviews, seen the posted video on our review page, and have even attempted to play the game myself. What we have done is unacceptable to you, the players and the fans of our Early Access game. We have not given this game the attention it deserves and it shows.
Devious Eye Entertainment has been working on Awoken with a brand new development team. There is a lot more work that needs to be done and we felt the best thing to do was let everyone know the truth:
We want to do better. We want to innovate and expand upon our ideas, our inspirations, and, most importantly, the games we make.
So while we continue to work more on Awoken with our brand new team. I will be updating everyone from here on out. We will address our broken mechanics, we will address the reviews and we will gladly take any and all feedback on our game (ESPECIALLY since it's in Early Access!).
I assure anyone who supports our company and this game that I will be your messenger and go-to for any questions. This project is important to Devious Eye Entertainment as a whole and we want nothing more than to fix our game and create something much better and akin to our vision.
