Update [1.2.2] VR HTC Vive Fix and the Storm is Returning!
Hello dear BeachHead fans and early supporters,
We've been quiet for a while, but we haven't forgotten about you! We're back and fully focused on making BeachHead the best it can be. This update is just the first step in a series of updates that will bring BeachHead to the next level. We appreciate everyone's patience and guarantee that this patience will pay off in the near future!

In this particular update we worked on the following items:
- New graphics
We've made a lot of graphical improvements and this is just the beginning. We are focused on improving the game visuals along with gameplay improvements. Gameplay, performance and visuals are our priority now. - Performance improvements
Performance has always been treated with care by our team, in this version we have made many performance improvements. In the next versions we will continue working on performance improvements for Desktop and VR. - OpenXR integration
We completely reworked all VR related code. Now we are using OpenXR, which is a development standard for VR. With this change we will have a standardized way of working with different VR devices and features. This will open the door for faster and easier ways to include new VR features and improvements. - HTC Vive Compatibility Update
Updates and bugfixes to fix compatibility issues with the HTC Vive in addition these updates should also cover all OpenVR compatible devices (Oculus Quest, Valve index, etc). - New Game Launcher
We created a game launcher that will make authentication easier for all platforms and will have all BeachHead components in one place. This will be used to integrate all future BeachHead products. - Rebuilt code structure to support many new and more ambitious features in future updates.
We expect to release a major update soon, in which we will introduce a new gameplay mode and activate the BHC marketplace. Stay tuned as we will be making an announcement soon.
