Terrordrome Reign of the Legends Development Update: January 2025

2024 has been a big year for us as we finally shipped 1.0 of Terrordrome Reign of the Legends.
A year may stop but we don't.
Happy New Year and here's the first development update of 2025!

NEW visual outline shaders!
We are changing how the game looks.
Realistic rendering technology for the game has been a bit of a struggle for us so we took alternative routes into our game and as some who have played the recent update have noticed we have added a shader that outlines our characters to give them a bit more of a fresh POP!
Not only does it look better than before but it brings more visual diversity to the game and helps the characters stand out from the stages a little more than before.
Seeing how much of an improvement this small addition made, we have been experimenting more of what we could do to make ROTL have that visual burst of energy as well as keeping to our horror themes.
We're looking more into a possible shaded arty look to make the game have a more horror comic looking feel as we have decided to produce the story of the game through comic form.

Alt costumes update
So far we have now rigged up 4 of the 12 character alts which means we are already a third of the way through the roster and we are getting these done quicker than we thought we would of but there's still more to do.

2025 and comics
As mentioned above we will be moving the story towards more of a comic than a mode as it was more preferred through our polls and this year we are gonna take steps into working on that including fitting the game with a new comic look which will take time.
2024 was only the start and here's to another year of improvements, fixes and a even greater game.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends : Quick Fix 2

Only a few changes are within this update to address a game breaking issue on first load.



  • Fixed an issue no allowing the selection of Init language while using a controller or keyboard.

  • Reenabled Screen space outlines after fixing an issue not allowing them to work when characters go Invisible or Off Screen.

  • Fixed an issue on the Invisible Man that made his Glasses still visible when triggering his invisibility move.

Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends : Quick Fix

Here is a quick small update to fix some over looked issues that should have been included in the previous update.



  • Fixed an issue with the initial language selection only selecting Polish.

  • Fixed an issue on Neverman were it wasn't possible to Grab Sasquatch or Wendigo.

  • Text adjustments on the main menu while using the French Language.

  • Possible fix to language selection getting reset for some unexplained reason. (Arcade Mode)

  • Disabled Screen space outlines till we find a solution to property disable this between characters.













Terrordrome : Reign Of The Legends : Version 1.02-1

Found some important issues that needed to be addressed immediately.

  • New Screen Space outlines have been enabled as this gives the characters almost a comic style.

  • When fully changing the keyboard layout, while on character selection the default confirm button works as it should on the character selection screen.

  • Fixed an issue with online play that would cause the game to freeze the game to a black screen.

  • Updates to the over all game state fixing certain desync within online play.

  • You can now just press the Confirm button to ready up within an online lobby.

  • Fixed an issue on first boot when asking to login to an Epic Games Account to access friends list, that the buttons for Yes and No are stacked on top of each other. Due to the EOS overlay not working on Steam Deck this screen has been removed.

  • Fixed an issue that would make Death Sentences end the round sooner than they should.

  • Fixed an issue that wouldn't allow Neverman's Close Death Sentence to work VS. Wendigo.

  • Fixed other issues that wouldn't allow certain Death Sentences to don't work at all.

Terrordrome Reign of the Legends Development Update: December 2024

Another month and another development update as we share what we're been up to during November.
This month has been slow for us due to multiple things, we've mostly spent our time fixing bugs, polishing and trying to market the game through our socials with short videos like YouTube shorts etc.
That being said we do have some things we would like to share to you today.

Development of a new background character is in the works
Previously before release we mentioned that we wanted to add more life and animation to our stages and that's exactly what we did with Mary's stage with the ghosts and Hyde's stage with the lab rats but it's the nature stages like winter woods and hidden forest we want to add to next.
So we commissioned a new character to fill in this blank and his model has already been made and the next step is texturing and rigging before we can announce who or what he is at this point so stay tuned.



DLC costumes Update
So far we can confirm that 1 out of 12 of the costumes are now rigged and are ready to be implemented into the game and there's only two costumes left (being Spring Heeled Jack's and Mary's) to be modelled.
