Update 1.2.57

ADD: Mods can now provide custom xp files for decoration ribbons for any nation included in the mod's custom nation_defs.json file; must be located in a 'ribbons' folder within the mod folder (this functionality existed before but was neither well implemented nor well documented)
ADD: Missing base AP score for 107mm gun

CNG: Slight remapping of controller inputs in ammo loading menu

FIX: Crash when displaying Polish rank names with non-ascii characters (thanks Nataniel!)
FIX: HE hits now properly use a critical effect chance rather than a critical hit chance, and apply the firepower bonus properly if a critical effect is achieved
FIX: Emplacements now properly have a halved HD save when attacked in overrun, also slightly lowered base HD save
FIX: Movement preview line on Campaign Day map now drawn much darker if ground conditions are snowy, for better visibility
FIX: Added a check when spawning enemy units for Convoy Attack missions to ensure that at least two enemy trucks are spawned

ADD: Unit definitions in mods can now inherit key-value data from other unit definitions, syntax is the same as for nation definitions
ADD: Czechoslovakia as filter nation for unit gallery, list now sorted alphabetically

CNG: Improved messaging for effects on the Attacker Moving to-hit modifier
CNG: Some Campaign Day random events will now only affect a zone that is adjacent to the player
CNG: Amounts for the "additional support made available" random Campaign Day event now increased

FIX: Player vehicles that took a penetrating hit and were later knocked out will no longer check to see whether the PH is repaired at the end of the day

ADD: Player can now spend a Fate Point to avoid the effects of a successful enemy air attack on their vehicle
ADD: Chance to keep player vehicle after a Penetrating Hit; increased chance with higher Player Commander levels

CNG: Display of Stores and Ready Rack ammo in Ammo Loading menu now uses rows of 10, to match the add/remove 10 command

FIX: Display error in the Crew Assignment menu when 6 crewmen were unassigned
FIX: Minor damage no longer has the chance to cause spalling injuries
FIX: Friendly fire air attacks on player can now occur even if enemy has no air support

Update 1.2.54

CNG: New system for awarding decorations, still based on average VP score or highest one-day score but should be more generous especially at the end of a campaign
FIX: A rather serious issue where a few messages appearing at the end of the campaign were not visible on the screen, and would appear to freeze the game if the "Must Dismiss Messages" option were enabled

Update 1.2.53 Hotfix

ADD: Additional check for loading corrupted or incorrect .xp files, will give an error but not crash if one is encountered
FIX: Minor typo in bailout minigame
