Update announcement and Steam badges

Hello friends!

Great news — we’ve almost finished with the Major Update, and we’d like to officially announce that it will become available next Monday, July 17th.

The update will introduce a new game mode and a new unique deck, along with many other important changes that will significantly improve your gaming experience.

But that’s not all the good news! Along with the update, you will be able to get collectible items — badges, backgrounds and emojis. So today we’ve decided to provide a detailed overview and show what you can get if you pick up all the trading cards.

[h3]Trading cards[/h3]
There will be eight cards — you can get four of them automatically. They feature all main characters of the game.

[h3]Badges[/h3]

When you collect all the eight cards, you’ll be able to get a level one badge — the Bandit faction standard. When you collect the cards again, you can upgrade them. You will gain access to Frisian, Gellian, Enses' and Berkanan standards.

The foil badge should be marked separately. By collecting special foil cards you can get a unique badge in the form of the game’s logo.

[h3]Emojis[/h3]

Apart from the badges you can also get one of the seven emojis: we’ve added four common, two uncommon and one rare one in the form of a red flag. It will surely get handy if you want to mark some important information in your guides or just warn your players and friends about any danger.

[h3]Backgrounds[/h3]
And of course, one of the most interesting things are special backgrounds for your profiles. We’ve created some mockups to show you how your page will look like.

The first two are of common rarity. We’ve included the battle from the opening cinematic of the game and Gollah’s tavern here.


Four uncommon backgrounds are for those who prefer to see characters of the game on their page.


There are also two rare ones. We think the first one will be perfect for those who love card battlers. And speaking about the second one — we just like it!
