Civilization 7 mods explained

What are the best Civ 7 mods? One of the most important questions around a game release is whether it will have mod support. Given the extensive mod community around previous entries in the Civilization series, we hope the same can be said for Civ 7.


Civilization 7 may not be officially out for everyone except advanced access players so far, but that's enough time to question whether any mods have surfaced yet. We've got the latest info on whether there is official Civ 7 mod support, what mods are available in the strategy game so far, and our wishlist for future Civ 7 mods.

This Week in Civ: Advanced Access, Official Civ Discord, and New Settlers Hub

In case you missed it, here’s another roundup of Civilization VII news from the past week:

First and foremost, a huge thank you to the community for all the support and feedback you've been sending our way during our first few days of Advanced Access for Deluxe and Founders Edition players. As we stated in our February 6 message to the Civ community, we're actively listening to all the feedback, and work is already underway on free updates to the game including a UI rework, the addition of community-requested features, and more. We're honored to be taking this journey with you, and this is just the beginning.

[h2]Where to leave feedback and where to submit issues:[/h2]
As part of our commitment to take in your feedback and keep you updated, we've soft-launched an official Discord channel (please mind our dust while we get things settled). This will be a new space for providing feedback, talking with other Civ players, and getting updates directly from the dev team. Please give us some patience as we investigate the scope and severity of some issues.
