Leader - The Power of the Team

[p]In just 6 days, the full version of Next Run will be available on Steam! [/p][p]It's time to meet the new classes that will appear only in the release version.[/p][p]Class Description [/p][p]The Leader is a specialist in recruiting soldiers and improving their efficiency. [/p][p]Her strength lies in her allies - they are the source of her power. Playing as the Leader requires a thoughtful approach to development and squad management.[/p][p]Class Features [/p][p]- Starts the game wearing padded armor and commanding a small squad of peasants. [/p][p]- First Talent - Leadership: allows recruiting more units without penalties. +2 units for each point of the skill. [/p][p]- Second Talent - Control: increases the effectiveness of commanded fighters. All allies gain +10% to their stats for each point of Control. [/p][p]Weaknesses [/p][p]- Like the Warrior, the Leader prefers to act decisively and fight often - therefore, hellish waves attack her 15% more frequently. [/p][p]- Not available from the start - unlocked after completing the game as the Warrior.[/p][p]You’ll often have to decide: spend money on yourself or on your squad? Hire new soldiers or improve the old ones? How many warriors and mages to bring, and how many crafters and gatherers? [/p][p]The Leader is the choice for strategists who put their people above themselves on the road to victory.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Version 1.0.11

[p]Over 60 updates since version 1.0.7. The main ones include:[/p][p]- Improved UX: added window headers and close buttons, hotkeys, reordered interface buttons, slightly increased game speed, added protection from accidental clicks, and tooltips indicating that objects can be upgraded or created.[/p][p]- Fixed dozens of bugs, minor issues, and UI performance problems.[/p][p]- The base effect of spells has been reduced by half, but the impact of the Magic skill on spell power has been increased roughly threefold.[/p][p]- Enemy monsters of level 3 and higher have been weakened.[/p][p]- Balance: slight nerf to Warrior and Artisan, buffs to Mage and Necromancer.[/p][p]- In the full version, class unlock conditions have been added:[/p][p] - Leader - unlocked by completing the game as Warrior[/p][p] - Necromancer - unlocked by completing the game as Mage[/p][p] - Lord - unlocked by completing the game as Artisan[/p][p] - Peasant - unlocked by completing the game in Nightmare mode[/p][p]- In Nightmare mode, saving is now available only upon exiting the game.[/p][p]- The Trade skill now affects the bribing of creatures; a minor rebalance of creature prices has been made.[/p][p]- The Escape chance now increases by +10% per day.[/p][p]- The Living Tree no longer grants EXP but gives +1 Skill Point instead.[/p][p]- Texts polished and full support for Turkish and Polish language characters added.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Demo Out Now!

Mage — Master of Spells and Collector of Charms

[p]The Mage is the third class of the game, available in the free demo version (release on October 3).[/p][p]Unlike the Warrior and Artisan, the Mage relies not on brute strength or equipment, but on spells. Offensive, defensive, and supportive magic create a completely different playstyle — more dynamic and flexible.[/p][p]The Mage is a true collector of spells. The more diverse spells you discover, the more tools for victory you gain. You can play cautiously, using weaker but mana-efficient spells, or attempt to finish a battle with one ultimate spell. The key is to manage your mana reserves before striking![/p][p]Class features:[/p][p]— The Magic skill is extremely important: it increases the effectiveness of all spells.[/p][p]— Starts the game with 20 gold, a simple staff, and several random level 1–2 spells.[/p][p]— Key talents: Intelligence (boosts Magic) and Meditation (increases mana pool).[/p][p]— Maximum mana increased by +5.[/p][p]— Duplicate spells found in adventures improve those already learned.[/p][p]Weaknesses:[/p][p]— Strongly dependent on mana and the available spells.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
