Wanderstop’s First Music Reveal

Hello Wanderers,

Our final update for the year is one that, ideally, includes headphones, calming breaths, and perhaps a cup of your favorite tea. We were invited to be a part of the Day of the Devs Pre-Show, and decided it would be a great opportunity to reveal – for the first time ever – some sounds of Wanderstop.

Daniel – who you may already know as C418 – is the composer for our game. In Wanderstop, he has crafted a procedural system that allows the music to loosely follow the actions of the player, dynamically adjusting as you explore the wonders of the shop and introduce yourself to travelers who wander across your path.

For the Day of the Devs pre-show, we wanted to capture a bit of what it’ll feel like if you set the controller down and let the game run. We hope you enjoy this taste of the world and its music, and sincerely hope it brings a bit of peace and relaxation to your day.

That’s it for this year in terms of big announcements! In case you missed it, we revealed our release date at the PC Gaming Show’s Most Wanted last week: you’ll be able to pick up Wanderstop on March 11, 2025 on Steam and PlayStation.

March will be here before we know it, and we’ve got a few additional announcements up our sleeves before then, so be sure to follow us here and on Bluesky for all the news, and we hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday season!
