Patch 15.41 - Bug Fixes + Discord Rich Presence

Hi all,

This update introduces Discord rich presence, just like the one I implemented for Steam. Although it's pretty much useless for a small indie game and doesn't offer any benefits, it's mainly implemented for my own practice and learning of development skills.

This allows your friends to see what mode you are playing as well as even being able to see your wallet amount in the Locker or how much you're making in Money Clicker!



This update also temporarily disables Normal mode of the base asteroid mode until further notice. Despite using the exact same code as Mayhem, and working for so long with no issues, there's an issue that prevents progression past Level 2. During testing on the Unity project, I can progress past Level 2 with no problems. But on Steam, there's an issue that may be down to the Steam Client backend, which will require further investigating. Until then, Mayhem is still optional and all other gamemodes will progress as normal.

Patch 15.4 - Achievement and Bug Fixes

Hi all,

Happy new year! Apologies for the lack of updates, however today I deliver a bug fix plus a new achievement for completionists. As well as this, I realised that the update to remove the x10 Weekend Event never released so for the past month, rewards have been skyrocketing. To compensate for this "inflation", all ships have had a x10 price increase, while the x10 rewards will remain in the game.

Weekend x10 Rewards Event Begins Today!

Hi all!

From now until Monday 6pm GMT, earn x10 money in-game in all modes! Seen a cosmetic you like but don't want to grind away $50 at a time in Red Light, Green Light? Earn $500 from completing just one game!

And with addition of this, there is now an achievement to collect $10000!

NOTE: This event does not apply to Rescue Operations due to it being easily repeatable.

Patch 15.3 - Reward Increases + Changes

Hi all,

This update reverts some changes from the last and adds a new system to Red Light. It also increases money rewards for a few modes.

Patch Notes

  • Most Wanted - Normal: $30 → $50
  • Most Wanted - Mayhem: $90 → $150
  • Search and Destroy - Normal: $45 → $50
  • Search and Destroy - Hardcore: $70 → $100
  • Red Light, Green Light - Normal: $25 → $50
  • Red Light, Green Light - Time Trial (All Crystals): $75 → $100

  • Decreased player's light distance
  • Red light duration is now randomised between 1s - 4s
  • Increased maximum green light duration from 8s to 10s

Hi,

This patch focuses on Red Light, Green Light and makes balance changes.

  • Timer reduced from 75s to 60s (Normal)
  • Red light duration reduced from 1.5s to 1.2s (Both)
  • Increased maximum green light time from 7s to 8s
  • Decreased minimum green light time from 2s to 1s
