From the stories you told us, mighty Jarls, we know that once again you managed to tame the unexplored, wild frontiers. You have managed to build solid settlements, ensure the prosperity and safety of your people, and even threaten your enemies with armed expeditions ⚔️ Without a doubt, you deserve to be called a true leader.

However, all good things come to an end... And so, today marks the end of our next adventure in the world of Viking Frontiers, as we have just closed the Demo version of the game. But there's no need to be worried because...

The next important milestone will be the launch of the next new playable Viking Frontiers version, the release date of which we will reveal in the following weeks. We assure you that it will be the most extensive, refined and engaging Viking Frontiers experience yet, with many new features, mechanics and an intriguing plot 🤔 So be on the lookout for announcements on this awesome event!

Over the past 14 days, you have bravely traversed the Nordic wilderness, explored dense forests, peered beyond towering hills, and done everything in your power to ensure the survival of your newborn Viking settlement. Throughout this period, you've crafted various tools, constructed numerous buildings, and deepened your connections with many members of your community.

But for now, your adventure with Viking Frontiers is coming to an end... or should we rather say - to a short break 😁 You can be sure that we collected your valuable feedback and suggestions for a specific purpose, namely to prepare another, better version of the game for you all, Jarls! Thanks to your feedback, we will better understand your point of view and identify elements that need our attention. The number of players willing to take part in the Playtest simply exploded 💥 (bringing us immense joy!) • Fixed map bugs - misaligned objects, added new appearance of fields
• Fixed cursor not disappearing after exiting some of the UI panels
• Fixed stamina regeneration when the player is in the air
• Fixed bugs related to equipping tools and support items
• Fixed heating bars bugs at the Forge Station
• The Unstuck button is now fixed
• Improved navigation in Smelter and Workbench panels
• Added visualization of production slots in the Workbench panel
• Improved control over the production button in the Workbench panel
• Fixed a number of bugs related to completing tasks
• Added a number of graphical fixes on the map

The work on improving the Viking Frontiers Playtest version is in full swing, and the next Hotfix has just hit Steam! We constantly browse your reports, opinions and feedback with great interest, as it is thanks to them that we are able to constantly fix the most common bugs 🧐

Hotfix 0.17.5 also introduces some novelties, that we think you'll like. Let's take a look, shall we?

• Added a new UI panel to the Workbench Station
• Added new ritual materials to the compendium
• Added new sound effects
• Added new NPCs dialogues
• Added new icons and renders for Tool Assembly and Anvil Stations
• Added visibility of wolf tracks and blood in the inspector mode
• Updated the Tanner's Cauldron panel and merged the fuel panel with the main panel

FIXES:
• Fixed issues with item creation at the Workbench Station
• Fixed the display of bars in the inventory panel, from now on they are seen in the materials category
• Improved the display of objects and switching between their levels of detail (LOD)
• Improved objects creating at the Tool Assembly Station
• Fixed bugs related to the skin cooking mission
• Added an info note on how to open the player's panel
• Expanded the FOV setting to 90 degrees
• Improvements of fire effects
