  • Fixed deposit regeneration,
  • Improved trade balancing when merchants have insufficient silver,
  • Enhanced visibility of the Black Wolf marker on the compass,
  • Fixed reassigning the player’s house after the previous one is destroyed,
  • Fixed crafting animation for Shortswords in the Tool Assembly station,
  • Fixed player getting stuck on ramps inside the Sawmill structure,
  • Improved settler pathfinding to building interiors,
  • Added ingot-type items to Warehouse storage,
  • Production orders will now prioritize craftable items instead of blocking on the first assigned task,
  • Fixed saving of stations inside the Farmhouse building,
  • Improved buildability in certain areas of the map,
  • Fixed production recipe for Iron Knife used by settlers,
  • Improved path point finding for settlers while wandering around

Hotfix 1.0.14

  • Fixed the elevator quest: building either elevator now correctly updates the objective,
  • Fixed animal-based resource production (including chickens and eggs) after loading a save,
  • Fixed an issue where settlers stopped using tools with very low durability,
  • Fog can now be unlocked by performing any ritual for each god (no longer requires a specific one),
  • Added notifications for the Anvil and Forge stations,
  • Fixed crop field plant icons,
  • Fixed disappearing equipment items for warriors,
  • Fixed work order for the Steel Pickaxe,
  • Fixed item limits and proper UI updates for required materials in the Smelter and Simple Smelter stations,
  • Improved game stability after loading saves,
  • Fixed globally played sound effects (e.g. settlers working on farms),
  • Balanced ritual duration times,

It has already been three weeks since the release of Viking Frontiers on Steam, and thus we want to take a moment to share our thoughts on the current state of the title and our plans for its future. Launching the game was an incredible milestone for our team, but at the same time, it’s only the beginning of our journey.

Please know, that we are fully committed to continuously improving and polishing the Viking Frontiers project to make it even more enjoyable and fun to play for you all. The regular hotfixes we’ve been releasing are just the first steps, and we plan to keep updating the game to further enhance your experience. And we can't do it without you.

As you surely know, we are actively listening to your feedback and greatly appreciate every honest opinion and constructive comment. Your insights help us understand your perspective better and allow us to make meaningful changes together. Your input, reports and suggestions are carefully analyzed, recorded and - where possible - tested, so please keep them coming!

Listening to your voices, we are totally aware that the game is not yet free from issues, and know that some mechanics still need to be explained more clearly, as they are frequently brought up in player questions. Rest assured, we’re working on making these aspects more intuitive and accessible. This includes aspects such as expanding buildings with new devices, using the sawmill modes, fishing and more.
