Revival: Recolonization News

Fixed a number of bugs and added a map of Earth!

Greetings!

Our team would like to thank everyone for playing Revival: Recolonization. Please don't forget to leave feedback about the game – it's important to us and helps the team to develop further and fix the game..

We have received several bug reports and have already fixed them, namely:
 1. Bug causing the game to freeze during AI movement;
 2. A bug in the zombie AI causing the game to freeze;
 3. Bug that caused tooltips to remain visible after closing the science window;
 4. Submarine and aircraft carrier names now correctly display when changing language;
 5. Bug that caused several assimilated clans on the map to have no owner;
 6. Freezing during combat when support units appear;
 7. Game hangs when quickly fighting zombies;
 8. Ability to set two capsules of edicts in the same place.

Moreover, we added a map of the planet Earth and replaced the old town hall model with an actual model, which is shown during the selection of a place to build.

Revival: Recolonization Team

Hotfix! Fixed game freezing bugs and some more

Greetings!

There were a few bugs found in the latest version of the game. Thank you for reporting them. We've already made a few fixes.

Fixed:
 1. A bug that caused the tooltip describing the unit type to not disappear after moving the mouse cursor away from the unit portrait.
 2. Bug that caused the forced clan assimilation oath to not be fulfilled if a city was attacked with a clan.
 3. Freezing during game loading.
 4. After deleting a district from the construction queue, the required number of moves to build the next district was not displayed.
 5. Game freezing during an AI move when terminating the Right of Free Pass contract.
 6. Game freezing during the battle completion.
 7. Some interface bugs.
 8. A few visual bugs in the Japanese localization.

Also made easier-to-understand tooltips in the Science Tree. Now, when hovering over an item, there is a tooltip with the era in which it opens rather than the era in which the necessary resource for its creation opens. We made a change in the description of edicts. Now, if the radius of an edict is 0, the description displays 0, not the word “hex” as before.

We hope you are enjoying playing Revival: Recolonization. Share your impressions in the discussions and don't forget to write reviews.

In addition to this, we have prepared a new demo, which includes all the game's functionality and brand-new mechanics. The demo will be limited to 40 player turns, however, you can restart the demo as many times as you like to play 40 turns on a new game.

After the revolt of powerful artificial intelligence, the Earth was shaken by a terrible cataclysm, and human civilization collapsed overnight, sliding down to the primitive level of cavemen. But fragments of former greatness remain. Deep underground, the brilliant representatives of humanity – Emissaries – were waiting for their time to return, to rebuild cities, revive science and culture, and defeat the All-Mind.

The demo will feature:
 • Five Emissaries, each with their own specialities that affect their play style;
 • Four epochs of development;
 • Five tribes with different worldviews and gameplay peculiarities;
 • Improved Edict system;
 • Completely updated random event system – the consequences of choices now have a much greater impact on gameplay;
 • New combat units: subs and aircraft carriers;
 • A new dangerous automaton;
 • Various options for diplomatic agreements;
 • A map of Earth!

A nice surprise for those who already have the game in their library: you can play the full version with all the changes through the closed beta before anyone else does. To access the beta build, simply:

1. Click on Properties,
2. Then Betas,
3. Choose the available version and enter the password: revivalrelease

Take a stand against the All-Mind and restore the former greatness of mankind in the new Revival: Recolonization demo. Play, stream, and share your impressions of the game here or on Discord.

New Emissaries, Automaton, and Earth Map

Greetings!

We have big news to share: we're planning a major update for Revival: Recolonization, along with the full release of the game. So, what will be in the big update?
Two new emissaries
We are adding two new playable emissaries, each with completely new mechanics.

Lotus is an environmentally friendly emissary that can change the climate of a hex simply by walking through it. With it, climate expansion will be much easier, and you will always fight on your territory.

Val’fest is a master of diplomacy. By spending his reputation, he can convince rival armies to join his side.
Earth Map
Fight for dominance in the surroundings of the Earth, the cradle of human civilization. We're adding the "Earth" option to our map types.
A new deadly automaton
The Army of the All-Mind has been reinforced with new, deadlier automation, which will make it a real challenge even for the most experienced emissaries.

Defeating it will not be easy, but we are sure that you will find a way.
A new event system
After much testing by our team, we found the optimal formula for generating random events. It will be dependent on the tribes that you have attracted to your side. This will be added to the full release.

Add the game to your Wishlist, join our official Discord, and keep watch for news about the new update – it won't be long now!
