Development Status Report for February

Thank you for playing Craftopia. This is the development status report for February.

▼ Major Developments
• Boss Rush Dungeon
"Boss Rush Dungeon," which we had called "Mysterious Dungeon," is the dungeon where you will consecutively challenge strong enemies to go as deep as you can. The deeper, the stronger enemies will be! You might find it challenging since some floors may have a different environment from the ordinary battleground.

• Enchantment Scroll
You can use "Enchantment Scroll" to apply a specific enchantment to the weapon of your choice. You will receive Enchantment Scrolls as the rewards of Boss Rush Dungeon in the first place. We're considering adding other ways to obtain Enchantment Scrolls by the time of the release of Seamless Map Update.

Of course, we've been working on other things such as weapons, furniture, pets, bug fixes, and QoL changes as well!


We reveal a bit of additional information on the Seamless Map Update.

We'll add "Warp Portal(tentative)" which allows you to teleport from place to place instantly in the Seamless Map Update! This item may address the potential anxiety "how will we roam around the way larger world without any troubles?" we believe.


Please note that "Warp Portal(tentative)" is under development, and its model and design are still subject to change.


The development of Craftopia has been slowly progressing since we're working on the normal major update and the Seamless Map Update at the same time. However, we've been working on several issues to address with the help of much feedback from the community.

We'll keep you updated with the development status reports, and we'll announce the release date of the next major update when it's decided. Stay tuned!

Reveals the Trailer of Seamless Map Update

We just revealed the trailer of Craftopia's "Seamless Map Update" which we've announced before!

In the current version of Craftopia, you're exploring one island to one island by teleporting back and forth. Yet after the "Seamless Map Update", you will explore one enormous map without teleporting to another.

Along with this drastic change, we will adjust overall game balances and improve the game systems' qualities. We will report the progress of the development of the "Seamless Map Update" in the future as well! Please stay tuned!

2022/01/18 Update Patch v20220114.2018

◆ Critical Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed the bugs that the buildings on an island would vanish if you moved to another island while auto-saving, and the save data of the island would be reset if you force quitted while loading the island.

2022/01/12 Update Patch v20220111.1557

◆ Balance Adjustments
- Adjusted the timing of the roar of the boss "Fafnir".
- Reduced the bug that the boss "Fafnir" got stuck with fences.

◆ Functional Improvements
- When you use the item "Indulgence of Anubis" on the spawner of the boss "Fafnir", the item now has the similar effects as you use it on the spawner of other bosses.
- You can now shoot to some degree while on "Biplane" not just forward.
- Greatly increased the amount of damage that ammo of Tank and missiles of Biplane deal to vehicles.
- The part of Tank and the incident angle are now affecting the amount of damage that actual ammo of Tank and Biplane deal to Tank. The amount of damage that explosive ammo deal to Tank will not be affected.

◆ Network
- Fixed the bug that the shooting processes of Tank and Biplane weren't synced in Multiplayer.
- Fixed the bug that the angles of Gun Turret and Gun Barrel weren't synced in Multiplayer.
- Fixed the bug that the position of Tank wasn't synced when other players got off a Tank in Multiplayer.

◆ Bug Fixes
- Fixed the bug that status effects weren't applied to a player character when you used "Chill Potion", "Frost Potion" and "Electro Potion".
- Fixed the bug the amound of memory usage increased every time you moved to another island.
- Fixed the bug that you couldn't click items in the stacked boxes in the inventory after you opened the chest UI.
- Fixed the bug that the module attached to vehicles would be detached when you loading the save data.
- Fixed the bug that the yellow arrow which indicating direction of building was shown when you rode a vehicle while equipped with building material.
- Fixed the bug that the blueprint of "Absorber" absorbed the items that you retrieved with "Retrieving Rod".
- Fixed the bug that the targets of trials that appeared in Hell were automatically set on fire.
- Partially improved the behavior of player characters that were getting stuck.
- Fixed the bug that the player character immediately hanged onto the wall when you jumped towards the wall right in front of it.
- Fixed the bug that the player character climbed steep slopes or walls with the running motion when you repeatedly moved or jumped towards steep slopes or walls.
- Fixed the bug that you couldn't retrieve "Refinery" after you took the items from its chest when the save data had the Refinery that was containing items inside.
- Fixed the bug that "Repair Hammer" didn't work with "Farming Plot" and "Wheat Field".
- Fixed the bug that a player character slightly moved to the left when you pressed a movement key only for a moment.
- Fixed the bug that a player character didn't rotate while peforming dash slash of two-handed sword.
- Fixed the bug that the positions of the player character and the chair would be slightly different when you sat onto it while walking.
- Fixed the bug that "Iron Ball" didn't react on contact with Dash Panels.
- Fixed the bug that Artificial Bedrocks would be carried by Conveyor Belts.
- Fixed the bug that the boss would respawn immediately after defeated if you used "Indulgence of Anubis" to spawn them right after you started the game or you moved to another island.
- Fixed the bug that the boss would respawn immediately after defeated if you went back and forth between an entrance and a boss room in a dungeon.
- Fixed the bug that the AoE explosion attack of "Messenger of the Underworld" didn't hit a player character.
- Fixed the bug that the boss "Hydra" didn't perform breath attacks properly.
- Fixed the bug that the roaring effect of the boss "Fafnir" was unintentionally bigger.
- Fixed the bugs that you couldn't headshot "Cassowary”; Generators would be tilted when you put "Cassowary" onto it.
- Fixed the bug that you couldn't move while riding on the pet "Purple Mono".
- Fixed the bug that the buildings that were right in front of the player character became semi-transparent because of the dither effect.

◆ Bug Fixes
- Fixed the bug related to "Equipment Gacha Ball" and "Material Gacha Ball".
- Fixed the bug that the position of equipment on your right hand was mispositioned while equipped with an armor of Hakama series.
- Fixed the bug that the letters on Billboard weren't displayed in the input UI when you accessed Billboard.
- Fixed the bug that some modules such as "Wall-mounted Billboard" were rotated by 180 degree by default.
- Fixed the bug that the hitbox for retrieving "Short Stone Pillar" was mispositioned while using Retrieving Rod.
- Fixed the bug that random visual effects were shown when you used the skill "Vorpal Dance".
- Fixed the bug that you couldn't move properly when you wore Hakama series equipment with the newly added body color.
- Reduced the bug that a player got stuck under some circumstances, and fixed the bug that you could climb too steep cliffs.
- Fixed the bug that a player character slightly stepped backward when you started walking while crouching.
- Fixed the bug that the boss BGM wasn't played when you were close to "Worm".
- Fixed the bug that you couldn't push a snowball easily.
- Fixed the bug that the time limit of "Slip and Trip Trial" was unexpectedly shorter in high-level islands. Changed the name of the trial to "Shooting Trial: Slipping" as well.
- Fixed the bug that the timer of "Shooting Trial: Slipping" didn't stop when you finished the trial.
- Fixed the bug that the visual effect of the skill "Leaping Strike" wouldn't stop when you cancelled the skill or were interrupted.
- Fixed the bug that the keyboard inputs affected the control of vehicles while riding on a vehicle.
- Fixed the bug that you couldn't use the items and the skills registered onto hotkeys while using Drone for Shooting.
- Fixed the bug that the progression of offering items in other category in Picture Book was miscalculated.
