Base & DLC Update 2023/5/12

[h3]Base Game[/h3]
New
- Add coordinates/map supplies/spell shortcuts
It can be used with keyboard "V". At this time there is no default button for the controller.


Updates
- The name of the magical effect "Remains Protection" was changed to "Inventory protect".
- Adjusted the behavior of the magnet trap.
If the target is equipped with an item that has the magic effect "Inventory protect", trap will ignored.
In addition, only the person who opened the treasure chest was trap targeted, and items currently equipped and consumables were not affected.

- Adjusted the effect of the magic effect "Confuse Enemies".
Only the first turn after an encounter is now affected by a probability for each enemy.

- Special items will not appear from the treasure chest in the event battle in scenarios have random enchant.

Fixes

- In scenarios where have random enchant, when only one consumable item was sold, it was sometimes treated as a magic item.
- When a character without cursed equipment selected "Remove Curse" in the NPC store, it was not processed correctly.
- When creating a character, the expected number of spell counts was displayed incorrectly only when the related ability was 25.
- In the line drawing mode, marked ceiling 2 was not displayed correctly.
- When the DLC "High Resolution Sprite" was enabled, some monster images were not displayed.
- After changing the floor, the footsteps of the first step were not played.
- When moving to another floor by using the "Teleportation" spell, the camp BGM was terminated.
- Corrected some English system messages.

[h3]Prisoners of the Battles[/h3]
New
- The items sold at the 4th and 5th labyrinth stores will be added to the inventory on the home.
if Items in the inventory list of the 5th labyrinth NPCs, it become inventory of the NPCs.


Updates
- Adjustment of the 100 GP and 500 GP for magic enchant in the store.
100 GP: Only low-intensity magical effects are now given. On the other hand, "curse" will not be attached.
500 GP: The effect itself has not changed significantly, but adjustments have been made.

- Reduced the rate of enchant of some particularly useful magical effects in the middle to end of the game.
- Decreased the appearance rate of the magical effect "curse" and increased the appearance rate of Alignment-specific equipment.
- Increased the appearance rate of special items.
- Strengthening of some monsters, such as the cursed helmet and the boss of the third labyrinth.
- More appropriate definite and indefinite names, attributes, etc. of some monsters.

- Paralysis resistance of mantis gauntlets changed to sleep.

- Equipment conditions for some items were incorrect.
If you have a fighters who is using a Katana or Wakizasi +1, will be affected by this changes once those unequipped. Please understand.

- The progress sometimes became impossible under certain conditions at B16F of the 4th labyrinth.
Removed associated bars.

- There was a particular point in the second labyrinth where enemies from the first labyrinth appeared unintentionally.

Hotfix DLC 2023/4/1

[h2]Prisoners of the Battles[/h2]
Update
- The Lv drain of the "Mummy" has been replaced with paralysis.
- Weakened some attributes of enemy "Mage" and "Priest".
- New drop items have been added to the third labyrinth to correctly convey the intention of "Gloves".

below is some spoiler:

- The B1F of the fourth labyrinth has been slightly changed and a new heal fountain for the entire party has been added.
- Changed the location of the trap switch in the fourth labyrinth B13F.
- Added a message to warn about the trap switch in the fourth labyrinth.


Fixes
- The base damage of mace +2 was incorrect.
- Cloak +2 identify level was incorrect.
- The ability of some drop items in some trials in the third labyrinth was incorrect.

Hotfix 2023/3/31

Fixes
- When 25 pages of magic items were displayed in the store, the page switching function did not work correctly when purchasing items.
- When uncurse in shop, the cursed item was not at the initial cursor position.

[h3]Prisoners of the Battles[/h3]
In order to apply the following fix, please select "Prisoners of the Battles" from the title screen "STORY SELECT" and perform "Scenario Update". If updated correctly, upper right corner of the title will be 2023/3/31.

- In the recovery event for a party that was wiped out, the recovery position was incorrect.

DLC "Prisoners of the Battles" is now available!

The "Wizardry: The Five Ordeals" DLC "Prisoners of the Battles" is now available.

The game was originally released in 2005 and later ported to PlayStation 2 and iOS (those are only in Japan), etc. The 64-bit version released on iOS was also the cornerstone of the Steam version of "The Five Ordeals".

This DLC version not only allows you to play "The Five Ordeals" and "Prisoners of the Battles" in one application, but also revamps the scenario over the past 18 years. New monsters, new events, etc. have been added, and the game can be enjoyed as a more battle-focused. Of course, we must not forget that you can officially enjoy it in English.

- Changed the color of enchants with negative elements
E.g. Healing with negative values (HP decreases with each walk), etc.
SP is not supported at this time

Fixes

- In 3:2/SDUI, the cursor did not appear on the menu item in the Monster Dictonary when the mouse was operated.
- When resuming an adventure, the level-up status of another party was sometimes inherited.
- Lost characters were sometimes displayed as options in the bar.
- The cursor position was sometimes incorrect after escaping from a battle.
- When an enemy was summoned during message fast-forwarding, it was sometimes temporarily displayed in an unexpected position.
- When moving at normal speed in line drawing mode, the ceiling "darkness" was not displayed correctly.
- In line drawing mode, when the movement speed was normal, the wall on the right side was not displayed correctly.
- In line drawing mode, stairs were sometimes transparent from the floor.
