While we don't have an update yet on a release date, we CAN say that you can expect some new exciting info about the world of Achilles: Legends Untold soon!

Achilles: Legends Untold Beta EXTENDED and Patch Notes

[h3]The Achilles: Legends Untold Beta is now open until Monday, February 14th![/h3]

If you are just discovering Achilles: Legends Untold for the first time, you can join the Beta by heading over to our Steam page and clicking 'Request Access' and then 'Play Now'.

* Holding sprint button when stamina gets to 0 will retrigger sprinting when stamina gets to 70%
* FX showing when Enraged skeletons will attack

The response from the community during our Closed Beta has been incredible! Thank you to everyone who has played the game, provided feedback, and shared their gameplays. We have read every comment, and seen each of your gameplays and are so happy to see people enjoying Achilles: Legends Untold! Our whole team has worked very hard to bring you a great experience, and this is just the beginning!

The many foes of Achilles



Hi again! We’re hoping that you enjoy our small insight into the world of Achilles: Legends Untold so far. This time we’d like to talk about some powerful foes that will stand between our mythical hero and his ultimate goal. We’re considering that our game must maintain the “souls” of the soulslike games and have a bit lower level of entry at the same time. That’s why we’re working very hard so that all the clashes are both satisfying for new players and soulslike veterans alike.

So, who will try to stop Achilles in his tracks? Let’s start with Greek Soldier. These brave warriors may be encountered equipped with various weapons - swords, spears, or wielding a shield. They are well trained in battle, especially in terms of working as a squad. There are also elite officers among them that are better skilled and deadly. What’s worse, they are often supported by Troy Archers, who will stop Achilles’ advances from afar. Of course, all three enemy types can plan actions together to become quite a pain in the heel for our hero.



So we’re sure we’ve convinced you that our regular enemies might prove themselves to be quite adversaries for Achilles, but what about the bosses? Boss fights are crucial to the soulslike genre, and we want to make them as memorable as possible, so the players will talk about them for years to come. Let’s take a look at one of them. But only one, so we won’t spoil too much!

Is it a lion? Is it a bird? Meet the Griffin - a powerful mythological beast who will stand in the way of Achilles’ mission. He’s mean, cruel, and knows how to use his beak and claws to bleed his opponents to death. Oh, and let’s not forget about the devastating AOE attacks!
