We are back from PGA - the largest gaming fair in Poland!



We are back from PGA!

An amazing weekend is behind us, full of impressions and great people. PGA is the largest gaming fair in Poland, the largest in this part of Europe, so we wanted to do it really well!

At the fair, Dark Point Games had a booth where the arriving players, journalists and influencers could play the latest version of Achilles: Legends Untold.

The attendance exceeded all our expectations! Many daredevils have repeatedly tried their hand at fighting the newest boss, Tydeus. Defeated once, they returned to show the soul of a warrior. And there was a lot to fight for! Apart from satisfaction, our partner Xtrfy was giving away gifts in the form of keyboards and mice.

Thanks to everyone who came to our booth, played Achilles: Legends Untold and talked to our representatives.

First Major Update

Hey everyone!

The time has come - today's the day we release Update 0.2.0 into the wild! We've been sharing details about its new features for some time now, and finally you can experience everything for yourself.

The main features introduced in version 0.2.0 include a minimap, two new bosses, a new Tartarus Rifts side activity, new dungeon locations, and more.

Below is a full list of changes made to Achilles: Legend Untold in Update 0.2.0:


  • Minimap and Map (read "DevLog #2 for more)
  • New boss fight - Tydeus (read "DevLog #2" for more)
  • New boss fight - Pollux (read "DevLog #3" for more)
  • New main quest - "At the Crossroads" (in a new area)
  • Tartarus Rifts side activity (a.k.a. the Arenas; read "DevLog #2" for more)
  • Empowered Hades-themed enemy variants
  • 3 new dungeon locations to the world (read "DevLog #3" for more)
  • Non-hostile NPCs that try to run away from the fights
  • Added a new weapon skill - "Projection" (weapon throw)
  • Added grenade throw trajectory prediction - now you have full control of where it goes
  • 2 new skills to Menelaus' moveset: the Flaming Sword and Fire
  • 3 new skills to Castor's moveset: the Healing Field, a 2-hit Combo Attack, and a Charge Attack
  • 2 new GAIA actions: the Spear Throw and the Burning Arrows
  • New voiceovers for enemies, that they'll shout at you during combat
  • Loading screen tips, to make the wait more enjoyable and teach you about the game


  • Improved group AI behavior - combat is now a lot more fluid, enemies stay more focused, and their movement feels smoother
  • Shield Throw skill now uses Stamina instead of Fury
  • Status effect improvements (fire, poison, curse, bleeding)
  • Lowered accuracy for archers' first shots, now there will be less hawk-eyed sharpshooters around the map
  • Smoothed out character animations - dodge, roll and rotation should all feel even better now


  • Made some AI optimizations
  • Updated localisation
  • Updated collisions
  • Made General optimizations


As you can see, it's quite a packed release! We're excited to let you see all the new content we've prepared over these few months and get your feedback on it. We really value our players, so if you have any thoughts you want us to hear, make sure to share them!

If you find out that any bugs slipped through, please report them to us either through our Discord server at the #bug-reports channel, or the Steam Discussions forum. We'll make sure to go through them and squash as many of them as we can.



If you're wondering what's next for Achilles: Legends Untold, we've prepared a brand new roadmap with teasers of features coming to the game. We'll be sharing more details over the course of their development, so keep an eye out for new DevLogs in the future!

Poznań Game Arena Fair

There you will be able to talk to our representatives and play the latest version of Achilles.

A Look at Pollux - The Divine Son of Zeus (Devlog #3)

Hi everyone! There are still some features coming in 0.2.0 that we haven’t revealed yet. No time like the present, right? Let’s get right to it.



Brother to Castor, one of the Dioscuri, and a champion of Zeus - Pollux is the second boss coming to the game.



He's equipped with a sword, a beautifully ornamented shield, and solid armor that protects him from enemy attacks.

Pollux's godly heritage gives him a bit of an advantage in combat, as he possesses some powerful abilities:
  • Opposite to Castor's defensive field, Pollux creates an area of sunlight so strong that it deals damage to Achilles, but barely weakens himself.
  • Pollux can teleport to Achilles in a relentless attack. You might never see it coming, before it’s too late...
  • Pollux can leap forward at Achilles from a great distance, extending his attack's reach and leaving significant wounds on target struck.

Remember those mysterious gates we showed in the last devlog? It’s time for a reveal - they actually lead to entire new locations! After you go through one of these passageways, you'll find a whole new dungeon to explore.

It won't be easy though - some of them are full of undead, others are filled with bandits; you might even have mythical creatures standing in your way!



At the end of each dungeon, there's a chest with rewards, and an exit portal, so you don't have to go all the way back where you came from.

Can you complete them all?



We’ve already shown you what in-game minimap’s current version looks like, but there’s also an entire fullscreen map for you to use! It’s the first iteration and it will certainly undergo changes down the road, but it’s already pretty useful right now.



You can scroll around the entire world map and either seek various points of interest like shrines and chests, or look for locations you haven’t visited yet. The map gradually reveals itself as you explore the world of Achilles: Legends Untold. Try to discover it all!



Our loading screens now contain tips for the game! They should make the short wait in between levels more enjoyable.

As always, optimization is only getting better with time. We’re making sure that the game runs as smoothly as ever.



We’re getting really close to the update’s release! Our hopes are up, and we think you’ll really enjoy the new content we have prepared.

Pollux & Castor are brothers, together known to the world as the Dioscuri. While their mother was Leda, they had separate fathers - Castor was the mortal son of Tyndareus, the king of Sparta, while Pollux was the divine son of Zeus, who seduced Leda in the guise of a swan. They were also both related to Helen of Troy, as she was their sister.

When Castor got fatally wounded, Zeus gave Pollux a choice - he could either spend all of his time on Mount Olympus, or give half of his immortality to his mortal brother. He opted for the latter, enabling the twins to alternate between Olympus and Hades.

The brothers became the two brightest stars in the constellation Gemini ("The Twins").

Achilles has arrived at EGX in London!

We have some good news. Achilles' journey continues!

After Germany, it's time for England. Achilles: Legends Untold is being shown at EGX London.

Our game booth can be found in OB 8, near the main entrance. Guests will be able to play the latest version of Achilles, enriched with the most up-to-date content.

The stand will be available until the end of the event.
