Patch 0.7.1.1

Quality of Life Improvements:
  • New sounds added
  • You will now be able to save the game without returning to the main menu.
  • Some very frequent sounds have been removed.


Balancing:
  • Fallback will be limited to one occurence per unit and turn.
  • Defensive Fire will no longer be triggered if attacker and defender do not stand next to each other.
  • Defensive Fire will no longer be triggered by skirmish attacks.
  • Units will now be able to pass allied units when moving.
  • Cooldown for special ability "Ignore Defense" increased to 5 attacks.
  • Offensive Fire and Defensive Fire are now limited to 2 executions per unit and turn.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed some camera problems
  • Fixed some UI problems
  • Counter attacks of ranged fighters will now show projectiles

Warlords!


it's been 2 months since our release of Shields of Loyalty. We've already added more features to the game and fixed several bugs. Another patch will follow this week. Really hope you already enjoy all the new stuff!

Maybe it's a good time to give a preview of the big upcoming content update:
  • we will implement the 2nd island "Eternal Ice" with 9 brand new levels and the tier 3 units of Nobleman Aglovan and the AI units. Coming this summer.
  • furthermore we will include POI's. These are places on the map that give a level related bonus to your own units or a malus to enemy unit. E.g. praying at an altar will heal all units
  • various new events (like snowstorms, ice rain)
  • and more

New Features:
- Special abilities for units added.
- Visualization of estimated results of attacks added.
- One click move & attack functionality added.

Quality of Life Improvements:
- Reworked all Polish texts.
- Reworked all Russian texts.
- Reworked visuals of some maps.

Balancing:
- Set initial gold amount for campaign to 5000.
- Correct implementation of experience levels and bonuses
- Fixed the trigger conditions of the feature “Fallback”.
- Adjusted damage calculations.
- Adjusted AI units and behavior in level 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- Adjusted turn limit and map geography of level 3.

Bugfixes:
- Victory condition in level 3 will be triggered correctly now.
- Stack size will now be visualized correctly.
- Turn will now end when the avatar was killed.
- Evasion values will now be accurate for decoration tiles.
- Rare situations where two units occupied the same tile should no longer occur.
- Fixed trigger for Steam achievement “Eagle Eye”.
- NPC ground units should no longer be able to spawn on mountains.
- Counter attacks of skirmishers, ranged units and siege weapons will now be performed with the melee attack if in range.

one week has passed since our EA launch. Thank you for your feedback, wishes and comments! You can be sure that we will review each of your comments and evaluate if we can include them in the game.

The journey for Shields of Loyalty has just begun and today we want to give you a preview of the upcoming update:
  • Revision of the Polish texts
  • Revision of the Russian texts
  • Introduction of a few feature "Special Abilities" (each unit has an exclusive one)
  • Result prediction of the battle
  • Various balancing adjustments
  • Using WASD for navigation
  • Correct bonuses for each experience level
  • Tutorial enhancements
  • Several slight adjustments of the maps
  • Bug Fixing

Hey Warlords,

we uploaded an update addressing some issues.

The patch fixes the following bugs:
  • Army units were duplicated after Level 1-3.
  • Shortcuts [Q] and [E] (for cycling through own units) did not work.


Additionally we made some quality of life adjustments.
