the year 2021 will be an exciting year for Shields of Loyalty. We have a lot of news to share with you:

1. we will start with a demo at the Steam Game Festival on 03.02.2021. Here we provide a good insight into the game and hope for plenty of feedback from you our community.
   
2. if everything goes according to our plans, we want to start with our Early Access in Q1. The exact date will be announced shortly after the Game Festival.
   
3. we'll release a new in-game trailer and more screenshots in January.
   
4. our website is now redesigned and available at www.mosaicmask-studio.com. Please subscribe to our newsletter, as we'll keep you informed about SoL.
   
5. last but not least, we'll also start with our Discord Channel in January.

today's Dev Blog is all about the AI and tactics.

We want to challenge you in each level and force you to develop a tactic to defeat the enemy. We stay fair! The AI sees what you see. No cheating, no artificial superiority!
Of course this is not easy and the AI has to be fed with a lot of brainwax. It is our turn...

One of the important elements when it comes to tactics are the many features. Let's talk about the first 2 of them:

[h3]Ambush[/h3]

Be careful when discovering unexplored regions! If you encounter enemy units on your way to unknown regions, you will be ambushed and your journey will be stolen!

[h3]Guardian[/h3]

Your flight units can escort any other friendly unit. If the escorted unit is attacked, the protecting flying unit will fight back too!
