Can You Hear Me? Voice Chat is now LIVE!!!

Hey Hoopers! We're excited to announce an update to increase the competition and its social aspects. Are you ready to Play, Connect, & Compete?!

The Hoops Madness Team has been hard at work with a number of updates while we have been in Early Access. Regular Updates are forthcoming, BUT we are excited to announce these two major updates as well as some bug fixes.

New Features

In-game Voice Chat: Added in-game voice chat to increase social engagement during competition. Feel free to trash talk your buddies as you compete to see who takes MVP Honors!
Rift/Rift S Support in Steam: Added in support for the Rift & Rift S (and Touch Controllers) on Steam. More competition = More fun!
New music track: Updated the game with a brand new funky music track to really bring out the vibe of the game and get your fists pumping ːsteamhappyː
Matchmaking Update: Matchmaking has been updated with increased clarity for the following:
- Hosting Games
- Finding Games
- High Player Count Warning
- Logged Out Warning
Player Color's Update: Enhanced jersey colors for better player understanding
Post Processing Updates: Added Bloom and Color Grading
Anti-Cheat Feature: NO DUNKING! - Added in a prevention for players using 3rd party software to offset their position to score baskets super easily

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

Fixed a bug where hitting a Checkpoint in the Hoop Derby game mode would rotate players 45-90 degrees
Changed player initial load-in position to half court, facing the "main" direction
Addressed issue where the matches' Host name was incorrect in the "Find Match" tooltip in the Team Room
Fixed a bug where the ranking on the players HUD was not correct to their actual ranking in the game
Matchmaker auto re-connection is now working properly
Addressed various issues with the backboards in the Dominion game mode
