The art book spans 80 pages and includes:

To access the Digital Art, follow these steps:

1. Purchase and download it from Steam.

• Fixed the issue where the bookstore's rolling shutter door didn't close after bidding farewell to Fengyi on the first day.
  
• Corrected the interaction park costume issue where Fengyi didn't face Baichuan after removing the doll outfit on the eighth day.
  
• Addressed the dialogue issue with Jingxian on the eleventh day, where Jingxian didn't face Baixian.
  
• Typos have been corrected.

We are thrilled to announce that the quality of Russian text in the game has seen a significant improvement. We encourage all players to upgrade to the latest version to experience this enhancement. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to QuestLion for their tremendous support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We have received some negative feedback regarding the poor quality of Russian text after release, and we apologize for not providing a satisfactory gaming experience for our Russian-speaking players, mostly due to time constraints. However, we hope and believe that the story in this fixed version will not disappoint you.

Feel free to leave comments in the Steam Community, and we will continue to listen to your feedback. To help everyone better immerse themselves in those summer days in Shanghai from 20 years ago, and make up for "regrets", whatever they are.

Today marks a significant milestone as we officially launch "Shanghai Summer" on Steam!

This journey, spanning over four years, saw us through the challenges of the pandemic, team transitions, and substantial content revisions in 2023 to leverage our team's expanded capabilities. Finally, we are proud to present the fruits of our hard work with you all today and extend our heartfelt thanks for your patience and support.

Looking ahead, we plan to continue to polish the game to ensure the gameplay experience can be as smooth and immersive as possible.

Optimization and Bug Fixes: Our immediate attention post-release is on addressing any emerging bugs and fine-tuning performance and narrative elements, guided by community feedback.

Dialogue Box and Character Emoticon: To make up for the lack of voice-acting, we plan to further implement a feature that would allow the design of dialogue box to change based on the emotions of characters within conversations, while adding more character emoticons that are already in game.

Additional Bad-Ending CGs: High on the priority list, we're committed to creating new illustrations for a few Bad-Endings that currently lack exclusive CGs.

Character Animation Improvement: Character’s animation, especially for special interactions, will be improved to enrich the sense of immersion.

Digital Artbook and OST: A digital collection of all original art materials from the past four years will be compiled into a DLC, alongside the original soundtrack. We’d also like to take that as an opportunity to commemorate how the project has evolved throughout the development.

Community Item: A variety of Steam community items, including profile backgrounds, animated avatars, badges, emoticons, and trading cards, will be released at a later time.

Our goal is to complete these updates and enhancements by June 2024, prioritizing in-game optimizations. While developing additional art resources may take time, we're dedicated to producing high-quality content promptly and appreciate your patience.

After the Lunar New Year break, we'll re-engage in development at full capacity to address bugs and enhance gameplay. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive for continuous improvement. Today we proudly announces the upcoming release of the eagerly awaited visual novel, 'Shanghai Summer', set to launch on Feruary 8th, 2024, available on PC Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4.

Centred around themes of 'regret' and 'redemption', 'Shanghai Summer' offers players an immersive nostalgic journey back to the city of Shanghai at the turn of the millennium through the eyes of the protagonist, Tu Baichuan.

The demo of the game that offers players a glimpse into the first two days of the story is also available now!
